The Edmonton Oilers play a second straight game in the Los Angeles area on Wednesday night as they visit the Anaheim Ducks. Edmonton is a -350 favourite to win on the NHL odds.

Oilers vs. Ducks NHL Betting Odds

Wednesday is the fourth and final regular-season meeting between the teams with the Oilers leading 2-1 following a 6-0 home win over on Saturday. Leon Draisaitl (4G, 2A) and Connor McDavid (3G, 3A) lead Edmonton with six points each in the series. Jack Campbell won both his starts, allowing two goals on a combined 59 shots, while Stuart Skinner allowed four goals on 17 shots in his loss. Campbell is likely to start tonight.

Mason McTavish (2A), Max Comtois (2A), Sam Carrick (2G), and Ryan Strome (1G, 1A) lead Anaheim with two points each in the series. Lukas Dostal, John Gibson and Anthony Stolarz all saw time in net for the Ducks. Gibson was bad in his two, allowing 11 goals on 73 shots.

Edmonton is 5-1 in the past six meetings. The total has gone over in eight of the past nine.

Edmonton Oilers

Edmonton is three points behind Vegas for the Pacific Division lead and comes off a 3-1 win at the Los Angeles Kings on Tuesday. Ryan Nugent-Hopkins (36th of season), Leon Draisaitl (51st) and Darnell Nurse (12th) had the goals. Nugent-Hopkins became Edmonton’s fourth player to score at least 15 power-play goals this season, while Draisaitl added two assists and has 27 points over a 13-game points streak. Tonight, he looks to tie a career-high points streak of 14 in a row set in the 2018-19 season and record at least three points in a third straight game for the second time ever. Connor McDavid had an assist and has a 12-game points streak. He needs three points over the last four games of the campaign to reach 150 for the season. The Oilers are 6-2 in their past eight Wednesday games.

Anaheim Ducks

The Ducks come off their eighth loss in a row, 5-4 in Calgary on Sunday – the only time Anaheim has scored more than three goals during the skid. The Ducks led the Flames 2-0 after one and 4-3 after two. Frank Vatrano had two goals and an assist, and his 39 points have tied a career high. Kevin Shattenkirk had two assists. Trevor Zegras had an assist and has 60 points (22G, 38A) this season. He has joined Paul Kariya as the only players in Anaheim history to get at least 60 points in multiple seasons before the age of 23. Lukas Dostal stopped 36 of 41 shots and is now 4-8-2 with a 3.89 GAA and .899 SV in 16 appearances this season. Forward Troy Terry (21G, 35A) hasn’t played since March 25 due to injury and there’s no reason for him to return at this point. The Ducks are 0-5 in their past 15 Wednesday games.
