Zach Hyman had the lone goal for Edmonton, while Cam Atkinson scored a pair for the Flyers and Carter Hart stopped 22 shots to hold on for the win. Edmonton was amid a horrendous start to the season and has since turned the ship around after a change at head coach.
These teams have split their two-game season series’ evenly over the past four years, playing the UNDER 5-3.
Despite dropping four of their past five games, the Flyers have still managed to cover the spread in their past four games boosting their record ATS to an impressive 26-10 on the season. They are the lowest-scoring team currently holding a playoff spot, only one team has hit the OVER fewer times than the Flyers at 13-21-2 against the total.
The Oilers have covered four times during their current five-game win streak, getting them to 15-19 against the spread.
