The Flyers travel to DC after topping the visiting Lightning by a 6-2 score on Wednesday night, but have posted just one win in their past four road contests.
The Flyers are priced as -120 road favourites on the Friday NHL odds in their bid to halt their road slide, while the Capitals trail as attractive +100 underdogs and the total is pegged at 6.0.

The Flyers arrive in Washington riding a three-game win streak in head-to-action with the Capitals including a 3-1 road victory in January 2023 that marked their first victory at Capital One Arena since 2021. Noah Cates is steadily rounding into form after a slow start to his campaign. The 25-year-old also contributed a goals and a helper on Wednesday, and has now picked up seven points in 10 games after tallying just one total point in December and January.
Washington Capitals
The Capitals have endured injury woes of their own, with TJ Oshie and Tom Wilson topping the list of recent notable absentees. Wilson has been away from the team for personal reasons and his status for Friday remains uncertain while Oshie remains sidelined indefinitely. Connor McMichael has found his scoring groove of late, scoring four goals and six points over the past five games, and has potted three goals and two helpers over his past three home appearances. McMichael also scored in his lone previous date with Philly this season and offers value on the NHL player props as a +333 bet to bulge the twine on Friday. Conversely, Alex Ovechkin has failed to find the mark in four straight games, but has averaged a goal per game over his past five home outings.
