Minnesota pushed its win streak to seven games following its Thanksgiving Day victory at Detroit.
The defending NFC champion Atlanta Falcons are three games above .500 but still have their work cut out for them to qualify for the playoffs this season. Finding a way to sink the white-hot Vikings would be a step in the right direction.

The Falcons opened as 3-point favourites with the total set at 47.5 on the Sports Interaction NFL odds board. Atlanta topped Tampa Bay on Sunday giving the club its third straight win and cover. The Dirty Birds are 7-4 straight up and 5-6 against the spread while the under is 6-5 in their 11 games this season.
The Vikings are 9-2 SU and 8-3 ATS on the year with the over cashing in six of their 11 contests. Minny enters Week 13 riding a six-game ATS winning streak.
The Vikings have the second-shortest odds to win the NFC at +450 on the Sports Interaction NFL futures board with the Falcons a couple spots below at +700.
It’s getting harder to ignore just how lethal Minnesota’s offense has been over the last few weeks. The Vikes have gone for at least 400 total yards in three straight weeks and they’ve scored touchdowns in each of their last 12 trips inside the red zone.
Case Keenum’s QB rating has been above 100 in each of the last three games and he’s tossed seven TDs compared to two interceptions during the three-game spell.
The Vikes have scored 24 or more points in each of their last five games and the over went 4-1 in that period.
Atlanta backers saw the Julio Jones they had been accustomed to seeing on Sunday again. The All-Pro wideout hauled in 12 catches for 253 yards and two scores against Tampa Bay on Sunday in easily his finest performance of the season.
Minnesota’s defense will have to be mindful of the Falcons on third down. Atlanta converts a league-best 48.1 percent of the time on third down.
