Titans vs. 49ers Point Spread: NFL Week 15 Odds, Prediction
The San Francisco 49ers enjoy a golden opportunity to strengthen their grasp on a playoff spot and keep pace with the NFC West division leaders when they host the bottom-feeding Tennessee Titans on Sunday afternoon in NFL Week 15 betting action at Levi’s Stadium.
The 49ers enjoyed a bye last week after extending their current win streak to three games with a lopsided 26-8 win in Cleveland in Week 13, but have posted wins in just two of their past four home appearances.
The Titans are coming off a narrow 31-29 road win over the Browns last week, napping a seven-game slide, and have seen their two wins so far this season come over their past four road dates.
The 49ers have emerged as big 12.5-point home favourites on the NFL Week 15 odds. The Titans trail as lengthy +650 underdogs on the NFL moneyline and the total is listed at 44.5.
NFL Point Spread and Betting Analysis
The Titans eked out a 20-17 win in Nashville the last time these teams met, back in December 2021, halting a two-game head-to-head slide. Over the 49ers have taken eight of 12 from the Titans since 1981.
However, it has been Tennessee that has paid out at the sportsbook when these teams meet, going 8-1-1 against the spread in their past 10 clashes including a 4-0-1 ATS mark in their past five visits to the Bay Area.
Big points are common when these teams meet, with the total reaching 46 or higher five times during a 5-1 run for the OVER. Overall, the 49ers are looking to build on increasingly stingy performances as they return from last week’s bye. The Niners have allowed just 13 points per game during their current 3-0 run and have limited opponents to 15 or fewer points five times this season.
The Titans scored 30 points for the first time this season and just the fourth time in 65 games in their Week 14 win over the Browns. The squad had scored 14 or fewer points five teams during their preceding 0-7 run and had been averaging just 11.6 points per game on the road prior to last week’s victory, and have allowed an average of 45 points in their past 10 as double-digit road underdogs.
Tennessee Titans
Cam Ward’s trial by fire continued last week, with mixed results. The first overall pick in the 2025 NFL draft, Ward connected for two TD passes for the first time in his career but managed to complete just 50 per cent of pass attempts for a meagre 117 yards and one INT.
Some of the roughest outings of Ward’s rookie season have come on the road, where he has converted just 53.3 per cent of passes and tossed five of his seven picks, and with the Niners having so much on the line in this contest, it is tough seeing Ward silence the naysayers and should be backed as -220 bet to toss for UNDER 0.5 TDs.
And while the 49ers have recorded just five interceptions this season, Ward offers good value as a +105 wager to toss at least one pick on Sunday.
San Francisco 49ers
Currently trailing both Seattle and Los Angeles in the NFC West standings, the pressure is on the 49ers to capitalize on this weekend’s opportunity to pad their win total. The squad should also benefit from last week’s rest, especially Brock Purdy, who has produced mixed results since returning from an injury. Purdy completed just 55.2 per cent of passes for a season-low 168 yards and one TD versus Cleveland, and has found the end zone twice while getting intercepted three times over the past two games.
But with his receiving corps in better health, Purdy should enjoy a wealth of downfield options on Sunday, led by Christian McCaffrey. The star running back leads the team by a wide margin in both rushing and receiving yards and should be taken as a -110 bet to record OVER 122.5 rushing + receiving yards versus the Titans.
