Seahawks vs. Titans Point Spread: NFL Week 16 Odds, Prediction
The Seahawks preserved their fading playoff hopes with last weekend’s 20-17 upset victory over Philadelphia while extending their current win streak against the spread to three games. The Titans are coming off a heartbreaking 19-16 overtime loss to Houston, marking their second straight home defeat by a three-point margin.
Then Seahawks travel to Tennessee perched as strengthening 2.5-point road favourites. The Titans are +120 bet on the NFL moneyline to snap a two-game SU slide on home turf, and the total sits at 41.5.

NFL Point Spread and Betting Analysis
The Seahawks have managed to compile a 4-1 ATS record over their past five games despite scoring 20 or fewer points four times over that stretch. Indeed, the Seahawks have received little respect at the sportsbook while being pegged as underdogs by an average margin 7.6 points per game. However, they are winless in their past two as betting chalk, and are a meagre 3-8 ATS in their past 11 as road favourites. Despite sporting a 2-3 SU record over their past five dates, the Titans have seen each of their three recent home defeats come by just a single score. Overall, the Titans have limited opponents to 20 or fewer points in four of seven outings, and trend they may be poised to extend against a Seattle squad hampered by key injuries on offence.
Seattle Seahawks
With Drew Lock filling in under centre in the absence of injured quarterback Geno Smith, the Seahawks twice overcame second-half deficits on their way to the biggest upset win of last weekend. Lock has been solid in his first two starts of the season, connecting on three total touchdown passes while completing 68.8% of pass attempts. However, with his return to practice this week, it is looking likely Smith will reclaim the starting role despite failing to lead the team to victory since the team’s 29-26 win over Washington in Week 10. While Smith’s return is good news, the status of rusher Kenneth Walker III remains uncertain after being DNP at Wednesday practice. Walker turned in his best performance in six games last weekend, rushing for 86 yards and his first scoring run since Week 6, but is still smarting from a shoulder injury suffered in that contest.
Tennessee Titans
The Titans’ playoff fate was sealed with last weekend’s loss to Houston. But despite falling to 5-9 on the season, this is not a team that the Seahawks can afford to look past. Indeed, Tennessee has gone 2-2 SU over its past four games, with each of those defeats coming in overtime, and have now seen four of their nine overall defeats come by margins of four or fewer points. However, injuries could play a major role as the Titans aim to spoil Seattle’s march to the postseason. Rookie passer Will Levis was held out of practice on Wednesday due to the ankle injury he suffered in last week’s loss, and is listed as questionable. If Levis is unable to go, look for veteran Ryan Tannehill to return to action for the first time since Week 6. Tannehill opened the season as the starter, but played his way out of the job while tossing for just two scores against six picks in six appearances. Whoever is under center will need far better protection from the Titans offensive line, which allowed Levis to be sacked seven times last week and 14 times over his past three games. Also featured on the Titans’ growing injury report are receivers Treylon Burks and Kyle Philips, center Aaron Brewer, and defenders Jeffrey Simmons and Jack Gibbens, all of whom missed Wednesday practice.
