Ravens vs. Giants Point Spread: NFL Week 6 Odds, Prediction
New York’s hot start has been one of the NFL’s most shocking storylines through five weeks of action, especially after defeating Green Bay 27-22 over in London last weekend. Baltimore’s at 3-2 but viewed as an AFC powerhouse with Lamar Jackson playing some of his best football ever this season.
Kickoff at MetLife Stadium starts at 1 p.m. EDT Sunday with Baltimore five-point favourites on the road and the over-under at 45 on the NFL odds.
NFL Point Spread and Betting Analysis

The Giants have also started 4-1 against the spread, but have some ugly trends against AFC opponents. New York’s failed to cover in all five of their last five outings with the AFC North and the under is 9-1 in their last 10 battles with AFC clubs. Baltimore meanwhile has seen 12 of their last 17 road games hit the under, and are also 13-2 in their last 15 games versus the NFC.
Both clubs have top-seven rushing offences, with New York second in the league at 179 yards per game and Baltimore not far behind at 144.6 rushing yards per outing. The big difference is the Ravens allow 108 rushing yards a game (12th in NFL) but the Giants 131.6 (26th in NFL).
Baltimore Ravens
Lamar Jackson’s 12 touchdown passes this season has him third in the NFL, and he’s yet again in the league’s top 10 rushers with 374 yards so far — the most by a quarterback. Jackson’s right-hand man Mark Andrews remains the league’s top tight end in yards (349) and has four touchdown catches to go with the yards.
The Ravens likely aren’t pleased with allowing 23.4 points per game this season, but this number got better after last week in a showing that saw Baltimore allow fewer than 23 points for the second time this season. So far it’s been air yards as the issue with the Ravens defence; they allow a league-worst 290 passing yards per game.
New York Giants
Saquon Barkley is having a phenomenal season, but is also started to get banged up. The Giants star running back left last week’s game for a bit with a shoulder injury but returned and led all players with 106 yards of offence to go with a touchdown. Barkley is now second in the league with 533 rushing yards.
Quarterback Daniel Jones finished with 217 yards on 27 attempts versus the Packers, neither scoring or turning the ball over. The Giants rather pounded the ball 31 times for three scores on Green Bay with Gary Brightwell and Daniel Bellinger the other touchdown scorers.
In one of the more bizarre stats this season, the Giants remain without an interception this season but have a positive turnover differential thanks to six fumble recoveries and five turnovers through their first five appearances.
