Packers vs. Bears: NFL Playoffs Wild Card Parlay Picks

The Chicago Bears and Green Bay Packers meet for the 213th time overall, but just the third time in the postseason, on Saturday at 8 PM ET. The Bears (11-6) won the NFC North for the first time since 2018 and advanced to the playoffs for the first time in five years. They split their season series with Green Bay (9-7-1), losing at Lambeau Field by a touchdown and winning in overtime at Soldier Field.

Packers vs. Bears Wildcard Betting Odds

Rain, snow, and below-freezing temperatures are expected Saturday evening. Read below for my Same Game Parlay for this matchup.

Packers vs. Bears NFL Playoffs Wild Card Parlay

  • Josh Jacobs anytime touchdown (-120)
  • Jordan Love under 31.5 passing attempts (-118)
  • Christian Watson over 3.5 receptions (-125)

Packers vs Bears parlay odds: +500

Packers vs. Bears NFL Playoffs Wild Card Parlay Pick: Josh Jacobs anytime TD (-120)

Although his yardage numbers dwindled by nearly a third this season, Jacobs remained a reliable option near the goal line for coach Matt LaFleur’s Packers. The seventh-year back scored 14 total touchdowns in 15 games, including 13 on the ground. He scored in 10 different games; Green Bay went 6-3-1 in those contests and 3-4 when Jacobs did not get a touchdown.

With the weather expected to be gusty and sloppy, and the Bears featuring one of the league’s worst run defences, Jacobs is a safe bet to get carries. He was one of several packers LaFleur held out of last week’s regular-season finale against the Minnesota Vikings, and he only had four carries the week before against the Baltimore Ravens, so he is rested as well.

Jacobs had 86 rushing yards and a touchdown in Green Bay’s 28-21 victory over Chicago last month. The Bears held firm two weeks later, holding the running back to 36 yards and no scores in a 22-16 overtime victory. Jacobs is one of a handful of Packers offensive players who need to have a big game for Green Bay to have a chance to advance.

Packers vs. Bears NFL Playoffs Wild Card Parlay Pick: Jordan Love under 31.5 passing attempts (-118)

The Packers enter the postseason on a four-game losing streak. The team was without Love for the last two and a half games of the regular season after suffering a concussion in the loss at Chicago. Although Green Bay expects Love to be fully healthy and ready to go, nobody should expect him to sling it all over the place in Saturday night’s environment.

Love has only had 32+ passing attempts in a game five times this season, including just once in his final seven contests. The Packers are just 1-3-1 in those games, so it clearly isn’t a recipe for success. Expect a similar performance to his 234-yard, three-touchdown outing in the win over Chicago last month. In that game, Love went 17 for 25 passing. His sweet spot is less than 30 passes when conditions are ideal. Saturday calls for an even more efficient air game.

Packers vs. Bears NFL Playoffs Wild Card Parlay Pick: Christian Watson over 3.5 receptions, -125

Although I don’t expect Love to air the ball out often, he will still want to find Christian Watson, his favourite wide receiver target, as much as possible. Sure, Romeo Doubs leads Green Bay with 55 receptions and 724 yards, but that is only due to Watson missing the first six games recovering from an ACL injury he suffered in the 2024 regular season finale. He was also held out of last week’s Vikings contest. That is a shame, because Watson had one of his best outings of the season the week before against the Ravens. He had season highs of five catches for 113 yards.

Watson had more than 3.5 receptions in six games, and the Packers went 5-1 in those contests. That includes four catches for 89 yards and two touchdowns in the win at Lambeau Field. He was held to two catches for 17 yards the last time he set foot on Soldier Field, so he is another key Green Bay offensive figure looking for a measure of redemption Saturday night.
