NFL: Carolina Panthers at Philadelphia Eagles

Saquon Barkley enters the playoffs averaging a ridiculous 144.9 rushing yards per game over his last seven appearances.

A couple of legendary NFC foes do battle in the middle Sunday game of the NFL’s wild card round, with the Green Bay Packers travelling to the City of Brotherly Love to face the Philadelphia Eagles.

Let’s take a look at the player props and see if we can find some value picks for each team.

Green Bay Packers

Josh Jacobs has scored a touchdown in eight straight games, but I’m looking elsewhere for better value than an anytime touchdown. Give me the Under on Jacobs’ rushing and receiving yards. He just doesn’t get enough targets in the air to make me confident he’ll hit this number.

Jacobs has had more than one reception in only two of his last five games and he’s utilized more in the run game inside the 20, so there aren’t a lot of opportunities for him to rack up big yardage.

Wild Card Weekend prop: Josh Jacobs Under 90.5 rushing + receiving yards (-115)

Philadelphia Eagles

Lets stick with the running back theme and target Saquon Barkley for the Eagles. Barkley had an unbelievable first season in Philly, leading the NFL with 2,005 rushing yards and he likely would have broken the all-time single-season rushing record if he hadn’t be held out of the regular season finale.

Barkley already went off for 109 rushing yards and two TDs in the season-opener against Green Bay and he’s averaged a ridiculous 144.9 rushing yards per game over his last seven outings. With Jalen Hurts coming back from a concussion, I’m banking on Barkley leading the charge and torching the Pack again in the playoffs.

Wild Card Weekend prop: Saquon Barkley Over 101.5 rushing yards (-115)
