NFL Week 8 Weather Report: Freezing Temperatures in Denver
Halloween is just around the corner. Although it doesn’t land on the weekend per se (it’s on a Tuesday this year), that won’t stop fans from arriving at the stadium dressed up as whatever funky characters they can think of, football related or otherwise. Some players may have to play dress up too. Not as the boogeyman or a pumpkin, but rather to brace the cold! Yes, it’s apparently already that time of year when a chill sets in.

NFL Week 8 Weather Report
Jacksonville Jaguars at Pittsburgh Steelers
Are the terrible towels water proof? If not, they run the risk of getting soggy pretty early on Sunday afternoon in Pittsburgh. 75 per cent of the territory is supposed to receive rain. That percentage does not drop throughout the day.
New York Jets at New York Giants
The Snoopy Bowl only happens on average once every four years. It would be nice for the occasion to benefit from nice weather, but Mother Nature has opted to give this year’s edition a twist. Precipitation will cover 61 per cent of the region all afternoon long, although winds will remain docile, thankfully.
Kansas City at Denver Broncos
Neither wind nor precipitation will bother the Chiefs or Broncos this Sunday in Denver. That’s because they won’t factor at all. However, drum roll please, it’s going to be freezing. Not metaphorically. Literally. The Denver region forecast calls for no warmer than 27 degrees Fahrenheit during the day. That’s -2.7 Celsius and it’s still October!
Minnesota Vikings at Green Bay Packers
Similar circumstances might influence the Vikings-Packers game in Green Bay. It won’t be quite as cold, but barely any warmer. The afternoon high is expected to be 40 F, which is about 4.5 degrees Celsius. The Packers are accustomed to playing in frisky weather, but the Vikings are a notoriously mediocre away team, so we’ll see what happens.
