NFL Week 7 Predictions: Best Picks Against the Spread
It’s yet another hectic week around the NFL with an additional game in London on Sunday morning, albeit a different venue, and a Monday night doubleheader – but a true doubleheader and not staggered starts. The two teams off are AFC contenders Buffalo and Baltimore.
Here’s a look at all Week 7 games with NFL odds, played Sunday unless noted.

Pittsburgh Steelers at Cincinnati Bengals, Thursday
The Bengals were so desperate for quarterback help with Joe Burrow still out multiple weeks and backup Jake Browning struggling badly that they traded for 40-year-old Joe Flacco last week and immediately started him Sunday in Green Bay. It went about as well as expected in a 27-18 loss, the team’s fourth straight defeat. There is just nowhere else to turn at this point. Pittsburgh easily took care of Cleveland, 23-9, as the defence dominated against a rookie QB. These AFC North rivals split last season, each winning on the road.
Pick ATS: Cincinnati
Los Angeles Rams at Jacksonville Jaguars
Sunday morning 9:30 a.m. ET kick from Wembley Stadium in London. The Jaguars play at least one “home” game in London every year. Just awful travel for the Rams. Both clubs will take their bye in Week 8. Los Angeles won Sunday in Baltimore, 17-3, but may have lost star Puka Nacua for at least this week due to injury. He has been the league’s most dominating wideout this year and a top Offensive Player of the Year candidate. Jacksonville had been living this year off creating turnovers. It didn’t create any in Sunday’s 20-12 home loss to Seattle.
Pick ATS: Jaguars (alt +3.5)
New Orleans Saints at Chicago Bears
It’s a short week for Chicago as it came out of its bye with a handful of healthy starters back Monday night from injury when it played at Washington. The Saints had every chance to steal Sunday’s home game vs. New England but lost 25-19 to drop New Orleans QB Spencer Rattler to 1-11 in his NFL career. When might first-year coach Kellen Moore give the keys to second-round rookie QB Tyler Shough?
Pick ATS: Chicago
Miami Dolphins at Cleveland Browns
Two clubs going the wrong way for sure. Rookie Dillon Gabriel started a second straight game under centre on Sunday for the Browns, and their offensive woes continued in a 23-9 loss in Pittsburgh – the team’s 10th straight loss away from Cleveland (includes international). There is no belief that coach Kevin Stefanski will bench Gabriel for fellow rookie Shedeur Sanders yet. Miami rallied to take a late home lead Sunday vs. the Chargers only to allow the game-winning field goal in the final seconds. Tua Tagovailoa had his fifth career game with three picks, tied for the fourth most in team history.
Pick ATS: Cleveland
New England Patriots at Tennessee Titans
New England is one of the NFL’s most-improved teams under first-year coach Mike Vrabel and avoided a trap Sunday with a 25-19 win in New Orleans. Led by second-year QB Drake Maye, the 4-2 start is the team’s best since Tom Brady’s last year there in 2019. And New England has now matched its win total from each of the past two regular seasons. The Titans lost 20-10 in Las Vegas on Sunday and then fired head coach Brian Callahan on Monday. The team was 4-19 SU under him. No interim coach has been named as of publication. Sometimes a team get a bump after a coach firing.
Pick ATS: Tennessee (alt +7.5)
Las Vegas Raiders at Kansas City Chiefs
So much for that Chiefs dynasty being dead. After starting 0-2, they are 3-3 following a very impressive 30-17 home win over Detroit on Sunday night in a possible Super Bowl preview. Kansas City has scored at least 28 points in three straight games for the first time since 2021-22. Patrick Mahomes has 10 total TDs in the past three. The Raiders got their first home win of the year Sunday, 20-10 over Tennessee. But Geno Smith threw another pick and is the first NFL quarterback with at least 10 through Week 6 since 2020.
Pick ATS: Las Vegas
Philadelphia Eagles at Minnesota Vikings
Minnesota comes out of its bye week with maybe a QB controversy. Second-year J.J. McCarthy, who is a rookie via experience, stared the first two games and was very inconsistent and then got hurt. He did practice Monday. Carson Wentz has looked a fair amount better in starting the past three, going 2-1. The Vikings played Week 4 in Ireland and Week 5 in London, so clearly they were taking the Week 6 bye. We may not know until late this week which QB starts this game, but McCarthy is expected to get his job back when healthy. All of a sudden, it’s panic time in Philly after a second straight loss in Week 6, 34-17 at a pretty bad Giants team. The offence has not looked right in the early going as Philly has been outgained in every game.
Pick ATS: Minnesota (alt +3)
Carolina Panthers at New York Jets
Like New England in the AFC, Carolina is one of the NFL’s most-improved teams and upset visiting Dallas, 30-27 on Sunday. Panthers tailback Rico Dowdle, a former Cowboy, had 183 yards rushing to become the first player in nine years to rush for at least 175 yards in back-to-back games. He’s only getting a ton of work due to injury to Canadian Chuba Hubbard. The Jets are easily the worst team in the league and its only winless one after an ugly 13-11 loss to Denver on Sunday in London. New York had minus-10 net yards passing, fewest in team history and fewest by any team since 1998. But Justin Fields remains the starting QB.
Pick ATS: New York
New York Giants at Denver Broncos
New York looks like a completely different team since handing the keys to rookie QB Jaxson Dart and rookie RB Cam Skattebo. Big Blue routed Philadelphia, 34-17 on Thursday in Week 6, for its second win over a contender in the past three games after opening 0-3. Dart threw for a score and rushed for one and Skattebo rushed for three. Both are folk heroes in New York right now. The Broncos won 13-11 in London on Sunday over the Jets and opted not to take their bye after. Denver’s defence now has 30 sacks this year, the most by any team through six games since 2013.
Pick ATS: Denver
Indianapolis Colts at Los Angeles Chargers
The Colts’ shock early success continued Sunday with a 31-27 comeback win over Arizona. QB Daniel Jones had three more touchdowns and is a legit MVP candidate after being signed off the street. Rookie tight end Tyler Warren had a three straight game with a TD. The Chargers kicked a last-second field goal in Miami on Sunday to win 29-27. Justin Herbert led his 18th career game-winning drive, tied for second most in the NFL since 2020 when Herbert entered the league. The Bolts played without injured big-play WR Quentin Johnston.
Pick ATS: Los Angeles
Washington Commanders at Dallas Cowboys
Short week for Washington in an important division game after hosting Chicago on Monday night to conclude Week 6 and without starting WRs Terry McLaurin and Noah Brown. Dallas lost a wild back-and-forth game Sunday at Carolina, 30-27. Despite the Cowboys having scored 104 points with zero turnovers in their past three games, they are now only 1-1-1 in them. It’s possible top WR CeeDee Lamb returns in Week 7 from injury. He has missed the past three.
Pick ATS: Dallas (alt +3)
Green Bay Packers at Arizona Cardinals
Will QB Kyler Murray be available for Arizona? He missed Sunday’s 31-27 loss at Indy due to injury, and veteran journeyman Jacoby Brissett played well in his place. It was the Cards’ seventh straight loss in a game not started by Murray. Second-year star WR Marvin Harrison Jr. left with a possible concussion. Green Bay came out of its bye and had little trouble Sunday in a 27-18 home win over Cincinnati. Tailback Josh Jacobs had two rush TDs and now has 22 total TDs in 22 career games with Green Bay.
Pick ATS: Wait on Murray
Atlanta Falcons at San Francisco 49ers
Sunday night game. The Niners are hoping to get starting QB Brock Purdy and wideout Ricky Pearsall back from injuries. They lost in Tampa on Sunday, 30-19, without them and others and also lost their defensive heart and soul, All-Pro linebacker Fred Warner, to a gruesome season-ending injury in it. Really tough spot for Atlanta on a short week after hosting an excellent Buffalo team on Monday night. And then obviously having to travel eventually cross country.
Pick ATS: San Francisco (alt -3)
Tampa Bay Buccaneers at Detroit Lions, Monday
First game of the doubleheader kicks at 7 p.m. ET on both ABC and ESPN. Definitely could be an NFC playoff preview. The Bucs were down starting wideouts Mike Evans and Chris Godwin on Sunday along with a few others and also lost stellar rookie WR Emeka Egbuka to a hamstring. But they still beat San Francisco, 30-19, to tie the best start in franchise history at 5-1. Too early to know on those three receivers for Monday, but Godwin is not expected back at least. Detroit had a four-game winning streak snapped on Sunday night in a 30-17 loss in Kansas City. The 17 points were the third-fewest scored by the team the past two seasons. But Detroit has dominated both home games in 2025.
Pick ATS: Detroit
Houston Texans at Seattle Seahawks, Monday
Second game of the DH kicks at 10 p.m. ET only on ESPN. Houston comes out of its bye, which perhaps came at an inopportune time. The Texans looked pretty awful overall offensively in starting 3-0 but then scored a combined 70 points in winning their final two pre-bye games. The defence has been great overall, allowing a league-low 12.2 points per game. Seattle was in a tricky spot Sunday in Jacksonville but won 20-12, its ninth road victory. The defence has now allowed fewer than 100 rushing yards in five straight games for the first time since 2017. This may be very low scoring.
Pick ATS: Seattle (alt -3)
