NFL Week 7 Monday Morning GIF BLITZ!

Week seven of the NFL season came and went and it did not disappoint. Peyton Manning broke another record, throwing four touchdown passes on Sunday Night Football. The Browns went from looking like an up-and-coming team to going right back to being the Browns and the St. Louis Rams held on to defeat the defending Super Bowl champs in a stunner.

Here’s this weeks great plays and strange occurrences in your favorite gif format:

Randall Cobb caught a 3 yard touchdown pass from Aaron Rodgers as the Packers beat the Panthers easily 17-38 at Lambeau field. This touchdown put the Packers up 28-0 with four minutes left to go before half-time, which gave Cobb a good dipper for his mid-game snack.

At this point in the game, all the Panthers could do was play ketchup. They could only mustard 17 points in garbage time against the Packers defense.

Steve Smith hauled in three passes for 67 yards as the Ravens beat the Falcons 7-29. Other stat lines for Smith included two fights: one was more of a slap fight with Desmond Trufant while the gif below depicts the full-on wrestling match with Kemal Ishmael.

There should have been a challenge flag thrown to determine who pinned who.

In a game no one expected to end the way it did, the Rams pulled off an upset of the Seahawks 26-28 in St. Louis. The Rams executed a stunning special teams play, faking the return to Tavon Austin, which lured the Seahawks to his side of the field. The ball actually went to the other side of the field to Stedman Bailey who returned the punt 90 yards for the easy score.

Of all coaches in the NFL, Pete Carroll should be the least surprised by such deception.

Trouble is brewing in Chicago as the Bears lost to the Dolphins at home 27-14. Chicago has had issues on defense that continued Sunday. Here’s Ryan Tannehill running the read option up the middle for a gain of 30 yards. Tannehill bounced back from a tough loss last weekend, throwing for 277 yards, two touchdown passes while rushing for 48 yards.

You know your defense is soft when your secondary is dragged 10 yards down the field by a quarterback.

The Jaguars got their first (yes, first) win of the season against the Browns 6-24 in Jacksonville. This game only serves to prove that Cleveland sports fans truly are a special type of victim. May LeBron have mercy on all of your souls.

Head coach Gus Bradley must have told the team they were going to Pizza Hut after their first win.

Kyle Orton is somehow managing to win games for the Buffalo Bills as they narrowly defeated the Vikings 16-17 in the last seconds of regulation. Here Orton hits Chris Hogan for a 28 yard pass that would set the Bills up at the 1 yard line for the go-ahead touchdown on the next play to tie the game with one second left. The extra point would prove the game winner.

If Kyle Orton still had his neck-beard, this would have been an interception.

San Diego has looked nothing short of a playoff contender through seven weeks of the season but lost a close one to the Chiefs 23-20. Here’s Antonio Gates catching a 27 yard touchdown pass on a tipped ball that would bring them within four points of the Chiefs before half-time. The Chiefs would pull away in the second half and complete the upset for their third win of the year.

Sometimes the best defense is no defense.

Arizona finally has their starting quarterback Carson Palmer back in the lineup, which helped them past the Raiders 24-13. Seen below is Raiders linebacker Khalil Mack showing his desire to get after Palmer all day by literally attaching himself to Palmer’s shoe.

This is what happens when you don’t accept someone’s “best friends forever” bracelet.

The Broncos shelled the 49ers 17-42 at Mile High Stadium last night. Below is Peyton Manning’s 509th touchdown pass to Demaryius Thomas, that would put Manning ahead of Brett Favre in the all-time touchdown passing records. Manning threw three more touchdown passes on the night to continue his torrid pace this season.

You can’t stop the Manning. You can only hope to contain him.

After throwing his record breaking 509th touchdown pass, Bronco receivers mutinied against their overlord Manning by playing keep away with his trophy ball for a few short seconds. Manning took it in stride as he finished the game without crying.

Peyton Manning: record breaking quarterback, playground nerd.
