NFL Week 13 Weather Report: Slippery Fields in Pittsburgh, New England, New York
It’s been a while since so many cities hosting NFL games have been on high alert for inclement conditions. The first weekend of December is still a bit early for our southern neighbours to get snow, but the next thing to consider, especially since temperatures aren’t very warm to begin with, is rain. There’ll be plenty of it around the league in Week 13.
Let’s find out which fanbases need to bring their plastic ponchos to the stadium.

NFL Week 13 Weather Report
Los Angeles Chargers at New England Patriots
The first of the rain-soaked Sunday games is in Foxborough. As much as 90 per cent of the region will be drenched and winds will carry up to 17 miles per hour (27 km per hour). The Patriots are accustomed to battling in tough conditions, but not so much the Chargers. It will be intriguing to see how this plays out.
Atlanta Falcons at New York Jets
The New York and New Jersey regions should expect a gloomy Sunday afternoon as well, with 75 per cent of the territory getting rain. That percentage remains steady all afternoon. At least the winds won’t too bad (10 miles per hour). This might not be the best news for a dome team like the Atlanta Falcons.
Arizona Cardinals at Pittsburgh Steelers
In another case of a road team that plays in controlled or comfortable conditions when at home, the Cardinals head to Pittsburgh where the 85 per cent of the city is supposed to get wet Sunday afternoon. Furthermore, by the time the fourth quarter hits, gusts could be up to 20 miles per hour (32 km per hour).
Miami Dolphins at Washington Commanders
The Dolphins and Commanders will likely have to deal with the elements as well. While not as much rain is expected, the forecast predicts that 53 per cent of the territory will be concerned by downpours. Winds will be calm, however.
San Francisco 49ers at Philadelphia Eagles
The last time the 49ers went on the road against a tough defence in the rain, they slipped up against the Browns. This week their test is in Philly versus the Eagles. It’s expected that 56 per cent of the region will receive rain, so this isn’t as bad as the other games we’ve talked about. When the fourth quarter hits, winds could go up to 17 miles per hour.
Kansas City Chiefs at Green Bay Packers
No rain in Green Bay, at least not very much. What’s to be considered here is a cold Sunday night. The temperature is predicted to be only 34 degrees Fahrenheit, just about 0 C.
