Expect a strong performance out of Trevor Lawrence in Week 13 as the Jacksonville Jaguars look for more separation in the AFC South standings.
Seattle Seahawks at Dallas Cowboys: Lamb under the prime-time lights
We like receiver CeeDee Lamb for a big performance in Week 13. He’s caught touchdown passes in three straight games and he has six total TDs in his last six games. His total receiving yards dropped in Dallas’ last two games, but those were blowout victories against terrible teams. Lamb should be targeted more in a tougher game against Seattle.
Lamb is averaging almost 97 receiving yards per game this season and he’s broke the 100-yard receiving mark five times, including four of his last six games. Between Week 6 and Week 10, Lamb recorded at least 117 yards and seven catches in each game during that stretch.
NFL Week 13 Prediction: CeeDee Lamb Over 84.5 receiving yards (-115)
Kansas City Chiefs at Green Bay Packers: Love’s reality check
Props to Jordan Love on his recent performance, but Week 13 will likely be a reality check for Green Bay fans. Love has thrown multiple touchdown passes in three straight games and he’s coming off his best game of the season against Detroit last week, but having good games against the Lions, Chargers and Steelers doesn’t necessarily prove you’re a good quarterback.
The Packers are up against a Kansas City team that boasts the fourth-best defence in the NFL. The Chiefs are fourth in the NFL in average passing yards allowed per game (176.6) and they’ve allowed just 13 passing TDs this season. Love, on the other hand, has failed to throw multiple touchdown passes in five of his last nine games and his TD-INT ratio of 19-10 is one of the lower marks among starting QBs.
NFL Week 13 Prediction: Jordan Love Under 1.5 passing TDs
Cincinnati Bengals at Jacksonville Jaguars: The Jags are hungry
Jacksonville Jaguars pivot Trevor Lawrence will feast on the Bengals’ 31st-ranked defence on Monday night. Cincinnati is 26th in average passing yards allowed per game (249.6) and the 389.3 total yards they allow per game is the second-worst mark in the NFL.
Lawrence has had a bit of an up-and-down season, but he’s been trending up lately. He threw for 364 yards last week in a divisional game against Houston and he tossed multiple TD passes the week before in another divisional game against Tennessee. Jacksonville has won two straight games and this week is a chance to put some distance between them and the Texans/Titans in the AFC South.
NFL Week 13 Prediction: Trevor Lawrence Over 252.5 passing yards
