NFL Preview: Packers and Eagles Set For Offensive Master-class
The pick of Sunday’s afternoon slate takes place in Philadelphia where the Eagles host Green Bay. Al Dannity expects an offensive feast.
Packers will start with a bang
The nationally televised game on Sunday afternoon sees Aaron Rodgers lead the Packers into Lincoln Financial Field for a duel with the Eagles. Rodgers is well-placed to give Kevin Kolb some advice on replacing a legend in a Football-crazed town. Kolb is replacing Donovan McNabb as Philadelphia’s quarterback; two years after Rodgers took over from Brett Favre in Green Bay.
Both quarterbacks should have no trouble racking up some solid numbers on Sunday. The Eagles and Packers both possess deep receiving corps, although Green Bay’s looks more diverse thanks to the tremendous talent of Jermichael Finley at tight end. Finley is helped by having two effective wide receivers working with him. With Greg Jennings bound to receive plenty of attention, don’t be surprised if the chronically under-rated Donald Driver has a big day. For six straight years Driver has recorded 1,000 receiving yards or more yet he still doesn’t get the acclaim of his contemporaries at the diva position. Look for Driver to find the end zone at least once this Sunday.

While I like Kolb to have some success with his own gallery of stars, he is more likely than Rodgers to make errors on Sunday. That should lead to turnovers and prove the difference in this game. Bet on the Green Bay Packers as -3.0 favorites with Sports Interaction.
West-coast bias
NFL betting fans on in NFC West regions will have divisional action to enjoy during the second part of Sunday’s slate. The Rams face a Cardinals team currently looking for its identity under center. With Derek Anderson now the projected starter, things are looking a little shaky in Arizona. It doesn’t help that Antrel Rolle, Karlos Dansby, Kurt Warner, and Anquan Boldin are all no longer with the Cardinals organization. For all these problems, Arizona will still have too much talent for the rebuilding Rams. Bet on the Cardinals as -4.0 favorites with Sports Interaction.
Pete Carroll’s return to the NFL begins with a home game against the 49ers. Coach Carroll is in for a rude awakening when the 49ers come to town. San Francisco might not be an elite franchise but it’s comfortably the cream of the NFC West. Take the 49ers as -3.0 favorites with Sports Interaction.
