NFL Divisional Round Player Props and Fantasy Picks
We’re down to the Divisional Round in the NFL and there’s no clear-cut Super Bowl favourite.
Three of four games this week have spreads sitting around a field goal or shorter and it feels like any remaining team has a good case to win the Super Bowl.
With that in mind, I’ll narrow my focus to player props.
Here’s my top player props and fantasy picks for the Divisional Round.

James Cook Under 81.5 rushing yards
James Cook led the league in rushing this season, but I’m fading him in the Divisional Round after he managed just 46 yards on the ground last week against Jacksonville.
Cook is facing a rested Denver defence that allowed only 91.1 rushing yards per game this season, the second-best mark in the NFL behind the Jags.
The Bills running back has also struggled against elite units, averaging under 75 yards against top defences in the second half of the season.
Christian McCaffrey Over 110.5 total yards
With George Kittle done for the season because of a torn Achilles, Christian McCaffrey is set up for a big game against top-seeded Seattle.
I like the Over on this number for McCaffrey even if Kittle was in the lineup. McCaffrey has topped 110 total yards in 12 of 18 games this season, including 142 yards on 31 touches in the season-opener against the Seahawks.
San Francisco is the biggest underdog of the week, so I think they tailor their game plan around McCaffrey’s skillset and set him loose.
Kenneth Walker Over 12.5 rushes
Sticking with the Seahawks-Niners, I’ll take Kenneth Walker for at least 13 rushing attempts. He’s averaging exactly 13 rushing attempts per game this year and he had 16 carries in the season-opener against San Francisco.
Walker’s been even better over the last month, averaging 118 total yards on 14 carries. If this game goes the way oddsmakers are predicting, Seattle could hold a large lead in the second half, which would fuel the run-game and give Walkers more carries.
Colby Parkinson Under 2.5 receptions
I’m going to fade Rams tight end Colby Parkinson in Chicago this week. This is more about the return of Tyler Higbee from injury a couple weeks ago than Parkinson’s performance.
Higbee has become more involved over the last two weeks, averaging 23 routes over those two games, which directly takes away from Parkinson’s playing time and role as the No. 1 tight end on the depth chart.
