Jets vs. Ravens Point Spread: NFL Week 12 Odds, Prediction

The Week 12 schedule in the 2025 NFL campaign includes an AFC showdown featuring the New York Jets and Baltimore Ravens.

While there may be a sizeable discrepancy in talent between these two teams, what they do have in common is that it has been a rough season. The Jets are 2-8, while the Ravens went into the year with huge expectations but are saddled with a 5-5 record.

Baltimore is dominating the head-to-head series 10-2 and has won 10 of the last 11 matchups. The Ravens have never lost to the Jets at home. This marks the first meeting since 2022, when the Ravens went into New York and cruised 24-9.

Baltimore is a heavy 13.5-point favourite to win on the NFL odds, with the total set at 44.5.

NFL Point Spread and Betting Analysis

Both teams are 3-2 ATS in their last five outings, although Baltimore started the season 1-4 ATS. Unsurprisingly, the Ravens are a commanding 5-1 ATS in the last seven head-to-head encounters. As for the Over/Under, the Over is 12-5 in the Jets’ last 17 overall, dating back to last season, and 8-3 in the Ravens’ last 11.

In addition to the more traditional lines, the first-quarter spread is -3.5 in the Ravens’ favour and the first-half spread is -7.5. The first-quarter Over/Under is 9.5; the first-half Over/Under is 23.5.

New York Jets

QB Justin Fields has been benched, which means Tyrod Taylor will be back under centre for New York this weekend. Head coach Aaron Glenn announced the decision on Monday, four days after Fields completed only 15 of 26 passes for 116 yards during a 27-14 loss to New England. Taylor has made three appearances (one start) this year, completing 62.3 per cent of his attempts for 379 yards with three TDs and three INTs. The Virginia Tech product last played on October 19, when he went 10-of-22 for 126 yards with no touchdowns and two picks in a 13-6 setback against the Carolina Panthers.

The Jets defence also does not inspire confidence following their trade-deadline fire sale. They sent cornerback Sauce Gardner to Indianapolis and tackle Quinnen Williams to Dallas.

Baltimore Ravens

Baltimore is back on track, and not a moment too soon. Already facing borderline must-win situations after just six weeks of the season with a 1-5 record, the Ravens have risen to the occasion four straight times. Now 5-5, they find themselves just one game back of the Pittsburgh Steelers in an extremely winnable AFC North, in addition to being in the wild-card mix. Much healthier than it was in the early stages of the year, head coach John Harbaugh’s squad has been getting the job done with defence. It has held five consecutive opponents under the 20-point mark.

On the other side of the ball, running back Derrick Henry should be in line for a big afternoon. He is facing a New York defence that ranks No. 23 against the run, surrendering 130.9 yards per contest. Henry has exceeded 100 rushing yards in two of the past three outings.

NFL Prediction: Who Will Win Jets vs. Ravens?

The 14-point spread is the biggest on the entire Week 12 schedule, and why not? It’s hard to see the Jets scoring many points against a Ravens defence that has been soaring lately.

As for New York’s defence, it is a depleted unit that was poor against the run even when Williams was roaming the middle of the line. This has all the makings of a Baltimore beatdown. Let’s go with Ravens 27, Jets 9.
