With a Week 13 bye, Tennessee has had an extra week to stew on their 36-13 loss in New England.  The Titans are in a tight race with the Colts for top spot in the AFC South, so every win matters down the final stretch of the season.  Jacksonville has been out of the playoff race essentially since Week 1, but these are still important games for the Jaguars as they try to develop Trevor Lawrence into an elite NFL quarterback.

Tennessee is an 8.5-point favourite to win on the NFL odds, with a total of 43.5.

NFL Point Spread and Betting Analysis

The Titans have won the last four games in this head-to-head series, including a 37-19 win in Jacksonville earlier this season.  The Sports Interaction crowd likes Tennessee to continue that dominance, with 80 per cent of bettors back the Titans and 68 per cent of action taking the Under.

There’s not a lot of faith for Jacksonville in this one, as they’ve lost their last 10 road games, including all five they have played this season.  They’ve also been a poor cover option, going 4-8 against the spread overall and 2-3 ATS on the road.  The total has gone Under in the Jaguars’ last seven games.

The Titans have been tough to beat at home, winning their last 17 games against the Jaguars in Tennessee.  They’re 7-5 ATS overall this year and 3-3 ATS at home.  The total has gone Over in six of Tennessee’s last nine games.

Jacksonville Jaguars

The offence was a big issue again for Jacksonville last week.  The Jags finished with just 197 total yards of offence.  Lawrence threw for 145 yards with no touchdowns or interceptions.  Carlos Hyde and James Robinson tied with a team-high 24 rushing yards each.  Hyde also added a TD.  Laquon Treadwell led Jacksonville receivers with 62 yards on four catches.  Centre Brandon Linder left the game early with a back injury.  There’s been no updates on his status for this week.  Rookie cornerback Tyson Campbell also left early last week.  Campbell is dealing with an abdominal injury, but he has been a limited participant at practice this week and will likely play on Sunday.

Tennessee Titans

The extra week off should help the Titans build a solid game plan after suffering losses in their previous two games.  With running back Derrick Henry likely done for the season, Tennessee has been forced to rely more heavily on quarterback Ryan Tannehill.  Tannehill struggled against the Patriots, finishing 11-of-21 passing, for 93 yards, a TD and an INT.  Dontrell Hilliard and D’Onta Foreman led the rushing attack.  Hilliard had 131 yards and a touchdown on 12 carries, while Foreman had 109 yards on 19 carries.  Joining Henry on the sidelines is top receiver A.J. Brown (chest), guard Nate Davis (concussion) and linebacker Rashaan Evans (ankle).
