Jacksonville Jaguars vs. New York Jets

Point Spread and Betting Analysis
The Jaguars opened as 3.5-point road favorites – the first time they’ve been favorites away from home since 2011 – on the Sports Interaction odds board.
Jacksonville, fresh off its thumping of the Ravens in London, is on a hot streak covering the spread. The Jags are 4-0 ATS in their last four road games and 5-1 ATS in their last six games overall. Five of their last seven games have finished over the game total.
The Jets are coming off a huge victory last week as 5.5-point home dogs versus the Dolphins. Gang Green is, however, 0-4 against the spread in their last four games coming off an ATS win.
Only 17 percent of Sports Interaction customers see the Jets covering as 3.5-point underdogs and it’s a coin flip on the total as the action is split on the over/under line at 39.5.
Jacksonville Jaguars
Quarterback Blake Bortles is coming off arguably the best game of his pro career after he completed 20 of his 31 pass attempts for 244 yards and four touchdown passes in a 44-7 stomping of the Baltimore Ravens.
It was the second time in the first three games Jacksonville’s defence allowed fewer than 10 points and the unit is second in the league in takeaways per game at 2.7. Youngsters Myles Jack, Jalen Ramsey and Dexter Fowler Jr. have finally come good on their first-round talent and are turning the Jags stopper unit into one with some serious bite.
New York Jets
Maybe the Jets aren’t going to be as bad as the cynics thought? New York canned the Fish last weekend 20-6 thanks to continued competent quarterback play from Josh McCown. The career backup owns a QB rating north of 90, and the Jets go him a No. 1 target in former Seahawk wideout Jermaine Kearse.
