The next tour stop on the Minshew-mania express is in Denver against the Broncos. The rookie Quarterback is providing hope to a franchise that many thought was already done for the season after they lost their starter in week one.

However, the Broncos need to get into the win column as they already find themselves three games back of the division leading Chiefs after only three games on the schedule.

NFL Point Spread and Betting Analysis

The Broncos enter this game on a mild two-game winning streak against the Jaguars.

Denver is still in search of their first win of the season (1-2 against the spread), and first for new Head Coach Vic Fangio. The Broncos are 1-5-1 ATS in their last seven games played in the month of September dating back to last season.

The Jaguars are 1-2 on the season, but 2-1 ATS. Jacksonville has a lot of numbers going their way in this contest. First off, the road team in this series is 5-1 ATS in the last six games, and the Jags are 4-1 ATS in their last five meetings with the Broncos overall. Finally, they are also 5-2 ATS in the last seven games played in the Mile High state.

Jacksonville Jaguars

The legend of Gardner Minshew II continued last Thursday in prime time as the rookie pivot led the Jaguars to a 20-7 win versus Titans. All hope was lost in week one when the team lost Nick Foles – but Minshew has revitalized the North Florida area.

In two games, Minshew is 1-1 and a perfect 2-0 ATS mark. His 73.9 completion percentage and 110.6 passer rating are the highest ever by a Quarterback through their first three games in the Super Bowl era.

Through three games, Leonard Fournette is still looking for his first 100 yard game. His best effort; a pair of 66-yard games in weeks one and three. Fournette hasn’t scored a touchdown yet.

DJ Chark has scored a touchdown in each game played. He is tied for eighth in receiving yards with 277 on 15 receptions.

The Jags defence is coming off its best game of the season last week. Calais Campbell spear headed the effort with seven tackles and three sacks.

Denver Broncos

For the first time in 20 years, the Broncos are off to a 0-3 start to the season.

Surprisingly, Head Coach Vic Fangio, who is known as a defensive mind, is still trying to figure out his ball club. With a defence that includes Von Miller and Bradley Chubb, it’s hard to believe they have not recorded a sack or force a turnover. In fact, no team has done that since the 1982 season, when sacks became an official stat.

Joe Flacco was sacked six times versus the Packers, and 11 times on the season. Flacco has only thrown two touchdowns in three games. Courtland Sutton has been his number one target with 16 receptions for 247 yards.
