NFL Week 16 Packers vs. Bears: RB Josh Jacobs misses practice with injuries
Green Bay Packers running back Josh Jacobs did not participate in an estimated practice session on Tuesday due to knee and ankle injuries. His official status for the Week 16 game against the Chicago Bears has not been announced. Jacobs has been managing the knee issue for several weeks but the ankle issue is something new that he’s dealing with.
He did tell reporters after Tuesday’s workout that he’d prefer to play through the pain than miss Sunday’s game.
Week 16 NFL odds have the Packers as 1-point favourites in Chicago.
Jacobs has started 13 games this season, recording 890 rushing yards and 13 touchdowns on 218 carries. He has also caught 33 passes for 270 yards and one touchdown.
The Green Bay Packers enter the game with a 9-4-1 season record, just behind the Bears who lead the NFC North at 10-4. The Packers lost their most recent game to the Denver Broncos, 34-26.
