Eagles vs. Bills Point Spread: NFL Week 17 Odds, Prediction
The NFL regular season has just two weeks left, but the action is not stopping. The last NFL Sunday of 2025 brings us 10 big games, including an intra-conference battle between the Philadelphia Eagles and Buffalo Bills.
These are two of the elite teams in the NFL that have punched their ticket to the playoffs and are still gunning to climb the standings with their remaining games. To get you set for this matchup, here is my Eagles vs. Bills preview and prediction.
NFL Point Spread and Betting Analysis
Against the spread (ATS), Buffalo has gone 7-8 while Philadelphia has been impressive at 9-6. In the game totals, the Bills are 8-7-0 to the Over, while the Eagles are 6-9-0.
Leading the way in Buffalo’s touchdown odds are James Cook (-105), Josh Allen (+120), and Dawson Knox (+300). For Philadelphia, Saquon Barkley (-105), Jalen Hurts (+140), and A.J. Brown (+160) lead the way.
Philadelphia Eagles
The Philadelphia Eagles are well on their way to being one of the favourites to win Super Bowl LX. With a 10-5 record, they have already clinched the NFC East, marking the first time a team has won back-to-back NFC East titles in over 20 years. While they do not have a chance to be the #1 seed in the NFC, heading into the playoffs with momentum is crucial.
Momentum is certainly in their favour, as they have won two straight games, outscoring the Las Vegas Raiders and Washington Commanders by a combined 60-18. This game poses the real test for them, as it will be their toughest opponent since early November when they took on the Green Bay Packers and Detroit Lions.
The Eagles have a longer injury list than the Bills, but studs Lane Johnson and Jalen Carter are key players who are seen as questionable for this matchup. However, they are a deep team as it is, and have shown to sustain absences from key players before.
Buffalo Bills
The Buffalo Bills have posted an 11-4 record, which has them second in the AFC East behind the New England Patriots (12-3). While they are heading to the playoffs in the new year, there is no reason for them to take their foot off the gas, as the conference is still a major goal.
As expected, Josh Allen is having an MVP-calibre season with over 3,406 passing yards, 552 rushing yards, and 37 total touchdowns. However, a common question is how far he can take this team with an offensive committee that lacks pure star talent.
So far on the injury list, Josh Allen, Matt Prater, Jordan Poyer, Jordan Phillips, and DaQuon Jones are all questionable. In Allen’s case, all signs point to him being ready to go. The Bills will certainly need him.
NFL Prediction: Who Will Win Eagles vs. Bills?
This game could truly be a preview of the Super Bowl. Playing at Highmark Stadium is always a tough task, but I see the Philadelphia Eagles taking the win. Buffalo is on a four-game winning streak, but they have not necessarily dominated teams, with their last three games ending within five points. The Eagles are not a team that wants to stay within reach of the game.
Buffalo’s defence has also been concerning, giving up 85 points over those three games. In what should be a barn burner of a game, I expect the Philadelphia Eagles to win 31-28.
