Colts vs. Titans Point Spread: NFL Week 3 Odds, Prediction
The Indianapolis Colts are easily the most surprising of the remaining undefeated teams in the NFL. They look to continue their strong early start Sunday at 1 pm ET in an AFC South clash at the Tennessee Titans.
The Colts are 2-0 for the first time since 2009. After missing the playoffs the past four seasons, and going an underwhelming 17-17 in their first two campaigns under Shane Steichen, the past two weeks have felt quite refreshing, especially with Daniel Jones’ revival under center. Tennessee’s journey may take much longer, but 2025 No. 1 overall draft pick Cam Ward is exhibiting the fortitude necessary to survive under center despite starting 0-2.
NFL Point Spread and Betting Analysis
The Colts are 3.5-point favourites on the NFL odds board with a current money line price of -210. They are 2-0 against the spread, covering both as a home favourite and home underdog in the first two weeks. The Titans’ moneyline is at +120. Tennessee is 1-1 against the spread after not covering last week as a 5.5-point home dog in a 33-19 loss to the Los Angeles Rams. The Over/Under is listed at 43.5 points.
Indianapolis Colts
Saquon Barkley got a “get out of jail free” card when he bolted the New York Giants for the Philadelphia Eagles ahead of last season. Jones may be saying the same thing. The athleticism has always been there, but the poise and competency he has shown in the pocket the past two weeks have been impressive.
He has thrown for 588 yards and two touchdowns with no interceptions through two games, which includes the 316 yards he accounted for in the team’s last-second, 29-28 victory at home over the Denver Broncos last week.
The vibes are good with this team early on. Rookie tight end Tyler Warren appears to be the real deal. The offensive line, led by All-Pro guard Quenton Nelson, has weathered a couple of offseason defections, and the defence has taken to its new coordinator, Lou Anarumo, quicker than anticipated.
Tennessee Titans
Every rebuilding team is going to want to experience the Jayden Daniels effect, of course, with a rookie quarterback coming in and guiding a massive, rapid turnaround.
It would be surprising if that happened this season in Tennessee with Ward. This franchise fired Mike Vrabel despite a 54-45 record and three playoff appearances following two straight competitive, but ultimately losing seasons.
What they got instead was a seemingly overmatched Brian Callahan and a 3-14 campaign. Ward appears to be a step in the right direction, but Tennessee is still miles away from being a contender. He threw for 175 yards and a touchdown last week against the Rams, but was sacked five times.
Who Will Win Colts vs. Titans?
The Colts swept the Titans each of the past two seasons and appear poised to do the same thing this year. Indianapolis has won 10 of 13 against its AFC South rivals, and has gone 4-1 against the spread in its last five matchups. Tennessee has lost eight straight overall and five straight at home dating back to last season. And they’re 1-7 against the spread in their last eight contests. Jones stays hot, Jonathan Taylor approaches 100 yards on the ground, and the revamped Colts’ defence harasses Ward and an ailing offensive line en route to a 28-14 victory.
