Joe Burrow Injures Calf

It was revealed by Bengals head coach Zac Taylor that his prized player injured his calf. Although the news is very fresh, it isn’t believed that Burrow will miss any significant time, although what exactly that entails is anyone’s guess until the doctor’s verdict.

Burrow means the world to the Cincinnati Bengals. They made the Super Bowl two seasons ago and came close to eliminating the Kansas City Chiefs in the AFC Championship game last year. The only year thus far that went sour was in fact Burrow’s 2020 rookie campaign when a terrible knee injury cut his season short.

What’s more, this is the year when the star can re-negotiate a big payday for the seasons to come. The word on the street is his bounty could be the highest in NFL history, although that stat seems be surpassed on a yearly basis. Should this calf injury prove to be serious, it would put a dent in those plans, as well as Cincy’s chances at success in 2023.

There is no question that receivers such as Ja’Marr Chase, Tee Higgins, and Tyler Boyd thrive with Joe Burrow throwing the ball.
