Browns vs. Ravens Point Spread: NFL Week 10 Odds, Prediction

The Browns are coming off yet another fine defensive effort, albeit versus the Cardinals, a greatly weakened opposition. The Ravens were set against a tougher challenge in the Seahawks, or so the prognosticators believed. Baltimore walloped Seattle 37-3.
Since the Ravens have been a bit more consistent this season, the NFL odds favour them by minus six points.
NFL Point Spread and Betting Analysis
The first 2023 edition of this rivalry earlier this campaign was contended in Cleveland but the hosts were without their star quarterback. Baltimore easily won the game 28-3. The Ohio-based squad went with the green Dorian Thompson-Robinson under centre, which completely backfired.
The last time the Ravens won in Cleveland was three years ago. In 2021 The Browns defended home turf 24-22 and last year earned the spoils in a sluggish, wintry affair, 13-3. The under has connected four out of the last five matches.
Few people knew what exactly to expect from Cleveland this season. Not helping matters is that QB Deshaun Watson has missed some playtime, and he was the big reason why there was intrigue surrounding the club in the first place. Despite the challenges, Nick Stefanski has his side at 5-3 in the AFC North as well as against the spread. They are both the top-ranked squad in total yards allowed per match and passing yards conceded per tilt.
Baltimore has been an excellent prop as well through nine contests. At 6-3, they’ve proven doubters wrong, at least those who pay attention to spreads and whatnot. They allowed victory to slip through their fingers on a couple of occasions this year, but overall this is a strong team. Just as their opponents this week have a top-tier defensive unit, the Ravens are number in points allowed per game. This smells like a game for the under if there ever was one.
Cleveland Browns
It probably wouldn’t do to put too much stock into Week 9’s battering of the Arizona Cardinals. The latter is one of the worst clubs in the NFL if not the worst, and the Browns are winning with a bruising defence.
Still, 27-0 is a nice final score to admire if you’re on the winning side. Watson didn’t have to do too much (although some may question whether he can kick things up a notch this season), but his opposite number Clayton Tune looked completely overwhelmed. The Browns limited the Cardinals to 58 total net yards. That’s not a typo. 58. Let’s not overlook the seven collective sacks too. RBs Jerome Ford and Kareem Hunt keep putting in fine work in light of Nick Chubb’s absence and WR Amari Cooper had a terrific day with 139 yards on five catches. Was he lucky on the touchdown deflection? Sure, but it was just one of those days.
Baltimore Ravens
The Week 9 game at home to the Seattle Seahawks should have had some moxie about it. This was a matchup between two sides fighting for division crowns. By the end of 60 minutes of play, the Baltimore Ravens had demonstrated a superiority perhaps even they had not anticipated.
The 37-3 annihilation was about as thorough and complete a performance as one can ask for from a team. Geno Smith has been reborn as a decent QB and he throws to studs like DK Metcalf and Tyler Lockett. Baltimore would have none of it. The defence harassed Seattle’s front line all game long, producing four sacks, an interception, and five tackles for losses. The first downs were 29-6 for the Ravens, an outrageous statistic. The total net yards were 515-151, equally beguiling. The craziest thing is that the score was tied 0-0 heading into the second quarter. Gus Edwards had two TDs on the ground but the big yardage came from Keaton Mitchell – 138 on nine touches.
