Browns vs. Bills Point Spread: NFL Week 11 Odds, Prediction
The possible weather factor would seem to favour Cleveland, who enter this week 3-6 but as a top-five rushing team in both attempts and yards per game. Buffalo’s leading rusher remains a hurt Josh Allen, which is a concern in itself but especially as he plays through a banged up right elbow.
The 6-3 Bills fell 33-30 to Minnesota last week, dropping them to third in the AFC East after back-to-back losses. Cleveland went into Miami last week and didn’t come close in a 39-17 defeat.
Kickoff at Highmark Stadium begins at 1 p.m. EST with the Bills eight-point favourites on home field and the total listed at 41.5 on the NFL odds.
NFL Point Spread and Betting Analysis
The Bills home loss last Sunday snapped a seven-game win streak for Buffalo at home. Cleveland’s entering this one losing seven of their last eight overall games too. Buffalo’s taken four of their last hosting Cleveland, covering in four of those games as well.
These clubs have trended in the opposite direction when it comes to the total. Cleveland’s been an over team this season, with the over 6-2-1 in their nine games. The under is 7-2 in Buffalo’s nine appearances this year. The under has hit in nine straight Bills games against AFC North opponents too.
Cleveland Browns
The Browns opened last week’s loss with a touchdown drive, then it took until midway through the third quarter to put more points on the board. And until the fourth quarter to get back into the end zone. The more concerning number is Cleveland surrendering 491 yards of offence, and season-high 39 points against.
Running back Nick Chubb only produced 63 yards on the ground against Miami but it was enough to make him one of three running backs with 900 yards on the season. Tight end Harrison Bryant hauled in a touchdown reception last weekend as he continues to fill in for an injured David Njoku (ankle). Cleveland is hopeful Njoku can return this weekend.
Buffalo Bills
Allen was part of a lengthy Bills injury report Wednesday, with the quarterback a limited participant due to his elbow injury. Safety Jordan Poyer (elbow), cornerback Kaiir Elam (ankle), and offensive lineman Rodger Saffold (shoulder) were all limited too. Linebackers Tremaine Edmunds and Matt Milano both did not practice.
For all intents and purposes, Buffalo blew last week’s game against Minnesota. They had a 27-10 lead at one point, and had the ball with a 27-23 lead and under a minute to go. Four Buffalo turnovers is the most concerning part, as the Bills still managed 486 yards of offence in the loss. The Bills are now at a -1 turnover differential on the year.
