Bengals vs. Titans Point Spread: NFL Week 15 Odds, Prediction

Cincinnati’s extremely slim playoff hopes stayed alive on Monday Night Football in Week 14 with a 27-20 win in Dallas. The Titans, on the other hand, were officially eliminated from the postseason with a 10-6 home loss against Jacksonville in what will likely go down as the most pathetic game of the season.

The Bengals opened as five-point favourites to win on the NFL odds, with the total listed at 47.0.

NFL Point Spread and Betting Analysis

These teams met in Week 4 last year, with Tennessee winning 27-3 at home. It was a rare blowout win for the Titans, who had Ryan Tannehill and Derrick Henry each record passing TDs. You won’t see that again this week as Tannehill is out of the league and Henry is in Baltimore.

Outside of last season, it’s been all Bengals in head-to-head action. Cincinnati has won five of the last seven games between the teams, while going 6-1 against the spread in that stretch. The Titans have failed to cover in five of their last six home games in this all-time series.

It’s difficult to believe, but Tennessee has somehow managed to be worse at covering than winning outright. The Titans are dead last in the AFC South with a 3-10 record, but they are also the worst cover option in the NFL at 2-11 ATS. The Bengals are 7-6 ATS overall and they’ve covered in six of their last seven road games.

Both teams have hit the Over in a slim majority of their games this season. Cincinnati has finished above the number in five of their last six games and the Titans have hit the Over in two of their last three.

Cincinnati Bengals

Joe Burrow continued his strong season last week, throwing for 369 yards, three TDs and an interception. It was the fifth straight game Burrow has thrown for at least three TDs and he enters Week 15 as the NFL leader in passing yards (3,706) and passing TDs (33). As good as Burrow has been, receiver Ja’Marr Chase has been just as dominant and also had a monster game last week, finishing with 177 receiving yards and four TDs. Chase is on track to win the receiving triple crown as he leads the league in receptions (93), receiving yards (1,319) and receiving TDs (15).

Tennessee Titans

The Titans came out as losers in a battle of two of the worst teams in the NFL last week. Will Levis finished with just 168 passing yards and no TDs. Tony Pollard was the lone bright spot on offence after racking up 102 rushing yards. Tennessee has scored the second-fewest points in the AFC this season (227, New England is at 221) and they have the worst plus/minus in the conference (-115). With an average of just 14.5 points per game at home in 2024, the Titans are likely in for another blowout loss in Week 15.
