2025 NFL Draft Odds and Picks: Top 10 Mock Draft, Other Best Bets
The Tennessee Titans are massive favourites on the NFL odds to take Miami quarterback Cam Ward at No. 1 overall, but what might the rest of the Top 10 look like?
Weak QB Class For 2025

The quarterback class entering the 2024 NFL Draft was considered potentially one of the best and deepest in years, and that showed with a whopping six signal-callers going in the Top 12: Caleb Williams (Chicago), Jayden Daniels (Washington), Drake Maye (New England), Michael Penix Jr. (Atlanta), JJ McCarthy (Minnesota) and Bo Nix (Denver). William, Daniels and Maye went 1-2-3.
As of now, the scouts were spot-on as Daniels was historically good in winning Offensive Rookie of the Year and might be the face of the league in a year or two. Williams and Nix both played very well, while Maye showed signs. Penix Jr. saw limited action and McCarthy didn’t play due to injury.
When one QB class is that deep, the next class is going to be weaker and this is considered a pretty weak one. The Tennessee Titans have “earned” the No. 1 overall pick for the first since moving from Houston and it would be a monumental upset if that’s not Miami’s Cam Ward as he’s the -10000 favourite to be the choice. The Titans are not listening to trade offers and have confirmed they will pick first.
The over-under for first-round quarterbacks is only 2.5, with the over a slight -135 favourite. We think three will go off the board in Ward, Colorado’s Shedeur Sanders and Ole Miss’ Jaxson Dart.
Browns, Giants Shopping Picks
Cleveland picks second and the NY Giants third on Thursday, and they are both reportedly listening to trade offers and both need quarterbacks in a big way. The Deshaun Watson move was colossally bad for the Browns, and he will miss most if not all of 2025 with another serious injury. The NY Giants haven’t had a good quarterback since Eli Manning’s prime.
But, again, there may not be a quarterback worth going that high. Colorado’s Shedeur Sanders at one point soon after the college football season was favoured to go first, but the scouts have found a lot of holes in his game and perhaps attitude. There are two teams favoured at +250 to draft Sanders: Pittsburgh and Cleveland. This writer believes there’s no chance Sanders goes anywhere close to the Top 5 at minimum. If he’s still there when the Steelers choose at No. 21, that makes a lot of sense as they need a QB as well and apparently are tired of waiting on Aaron Rodgers. But as you will see below, I do think Sanders goes Top 10.
We like Heisman Trophy winner Travis Hunter to go second at -900 – he will play both cornerback and receiver in the NFL but probably primarily on defence – and Penn State pass-rusher Abdul Carter to go third, where he’s priced -800. The Giants seem set at QB this year with veterans Russell Wilson and Jameis Winston, and they can worry about that position in the 2026 draft when the class may be led by Arch Manning.
New England picks fourth, the favourite there is LSU offensive tackle Will Campbell at -625 and we think that will be the choice as the Patriots have to protect their new franchise QB in Drake Maye. Pats QBs were sacked 52 times last year, and new coach Mike Vrabel believes in building through the trenches. Campbell is the -1000 favourite to be the first offensive lineman off the board.
So we’d say the draft starts at No. 5 overall and Jacksonville. The Jags would likely snap up Campbell if there to help protect QB Trevor Lawrence after he was beaten to a pulp in an disappointing and injury-shortened 2024 campaign. But since we don’t think Campbell is there, we go with the best defensive tackle in the draft in Michigan’s Mason Graham, who is priced +140 to be the pick.
Here’s the rest of our Top-10 mock draft with current pick-holders and price of player to go in that slot:
No. 6 Las Vegas: Boise State running back Ashton Jeanty (-105).
No. 7 New York Jets: Missouri offensive lineman Armand Membou (+140).
No. 8 Carolina: Georgia pass-rusher Jalon Walker (+125).
No. 9 New Orleans: Colorado QB Shedeur Sanders (+500); this is better value than betting the Saints at +350 to be the team to draft Sanders on that above-mentioned prop.
No. 10 Chicago: Penn State tight end Tyler Warren (+350).
