The Dinos are 8-point favourites on the NBA odds.

Raptors vs. Magic NBA Betting Odds

Friday is the second of four regular-season meetings between the teams. They play again on Sunday in Orlando and the Magic visit Toronto on Feb. 14.

On Dec. 3 at Scotiabank Arena, the Dinos rolled to a 121-108 victory. It wasn’t really that close as Orlando outscored Toronto 35-27 in the fourth with the game out of hand. OG Anunoby had 32 points, and Pascal Siakam had 26 points and 10 rebounds. Toronto shot 56.0 per cent from the floor and had a whopping 70 points in the paint. The only Magic starter in double-digit points was Bol Bol with 18.

The Magic have lost 30 of the last 36 overall meetings with Toronto and 13 of the last 16 meetings at home (including one at London). The Raptors are 11-2 ATS in the past 13 meetings. The total has gone over in five of the past seven.

Toronto Raptors

Toronto caught a huge break on Wednesday in facing a Lakers team playing the second of a back-to-back as Anthony Davis, LeBron James (we speculated he would sit despite being healthy) and Patrick Beverley were all out, and the Raptors won easily, 126-113. Pascal Siakam had 25 points, 10 rebounds and seven assists, Fred VanVleet scored 25 points, and OG Anunoby had 23 as Toronto led from wire-to-wire. Scottie Barnes had 13 points and a career-high 17 rebounds. It was Siakam’s fifth game this season with at least 25 points, 10 rebounds and five assists. Those five such games are fifth in the league. Anunoby has scored in double figures in 21 consecutive games, the longest streak by a Raptor this season. Precious Achiuwa, Juancho Hernangomez and Otto Porter Jr. all sat and will again Friday. The Raptors are 1-6 ATS in their past seven on the road.

Orlando Magic

The Magic are atrocious on the road but generally competitive at home as evidenced by a 116-111 overtime upset of the Clippers on Wednesday to end a nine-game overall losing streak. Rookie of the Year favourite Paolo Banchero had 23 points (10 in OT) and five rebounds. He hit six straight free throws in the final seven seconds of OT to put the Magic in the lead and seal the come-from-behind victory. Bol Bol had 20 points and nine boards. Mo Bamba played for the first time since Nov. 27 off injury and had eight points and four rebounds in 17 minutes. Jalen Suggs (right ankle soreness), Gary Harris (right hamstring strain) and Chuma Okeke (left knee soreness) all sat and will again Friday. The Magic are 3-1-1 ATS in their past five after a win.
