After a rough patch over the last couple of weeks, the Golden State Warriors came alive on Tuesday with a 102-86 home win against the Pistons.  Next up for the Warriors is the Indiana Pacers who are playing the second half of a back-to-back following their 111-104 win against the Lakers on Wednesday.

Golden State is a heavy 11.5-point favourite to win on the NBA odds, with a total of 217.5.

Pacers vs. Warriors NBA Betting Odds

This concludes the season series between these teams.  The Warriors downed the Pacers 102-100 in Indiana on Dec. 13, despite Domantas Sabonis dropping a game-high 30 points for the Pacers.  Sports Interaction bettors are backing Golden State at about a 90 per cent rate, while 75 per cent of action is taking the Over.

Indiana comes into Thursday’s contest with 10 losses in their last 12 games.  Their win in L.A. broke an eight-game losing streak on the road.  They’re 22-22-1 against the spread this year, including 9-12 ATS on the road.  The total has gone Under in four of the Pacers’ last six games against Pacific Division opponents.

The Warriors have been dominant at home, winning 19 of 21 games at Chase Center this season.  They’ve been a decent cover option, going 25-17-2 ATS overall, but they’ve failed to cover in six of their last nine games.  The total has gone Under in four of Golden State’s last five games against Indiana.

Indiana Pacers

After losing to the Clippers on Monday, the Pacers got back on track by beating L.A.’s other team on Wednesday.  Caris LeVert shared a game-high 30 points with LeBron James and also added eight rebounds.  LeVert set a franchise record by scoring 22 of his 30 points in the fourth quarter.  Sabonis helped out against the Lakers, finishing with a triple-double of 20 points, 12 rebounds and 10 assists.  Malcolm Brogdon scored 19 points despite being on a minutes restriction because of a sore Achilles, which will certainly carry over against Golden State.

The win came at a cost, with Sabonis suffering what is reportedly a significant ankle sprain.  The injury comes at a bad time for the Pacers as they’re already missing Myles Turner, who is out with a stress reaction in his left foot.  There’s been no timeline on when Sabonis or Turner will return to the lineup.

Golden State Warriors

It was vintage Splash Brothers on Tuesday against Detroit.  Klay Thompson scored a game-high 21 points and nailed three 3-points, while Steph Curry added 18 points and eight assists with four 3’s.  It was a sign that Thompson is returning to form after missing over two full years with injuries and surgeries.  Curry, who averages a team-high 26.0 points per game, was returning to the lineup after a one-game absence because of a hand injury.

Canadian Andrew Wiggins was also in the mix on Tuesday, finishing with 19 points.  Wiggins is second on Golden State with 18.5 ppg and looks like he’s finally found a comfortable situation with the Warriors.  Draymond Green will miss a sixth straight game with a left calf injury.  The Warriors are being cautious with Green, who averages 7.9 ppg and leads the team in rebounds (7.6), assists (7.4) and blocks (1.2).
