The Pacers return home trailing 3-2 in the series after getting outclassed a 121-91 Game 5 loss on Tuesday night, but have claimed victory by double-digit seven times during their 10-0 run at home, capped by a 121-89 rout of the Knicks in Game 4 of this series. The Knicks have feasted on home cooking while winning 11 of 13 on home court but have gone just 2-3 on the road in this postseason and are winless in three straight visits to Indiana heading into Friday’s NBA playoffs betting action.

The Pacers return home perched as strong 6.5-point favourites on the NBA Game 6 odds but remain lengthy +200 underdogs on the NBA series prices. The Knicks have improved to -250 chalk to eventually win this series, while the total for Friday’s matchup is listed at 215.5.

Knicks vs. Pacers NBA Betting Odds

The Pacers have been dominant at times during their current 10-game home win streak. In addition to posting seven big wins, and averaged 124.1 points per game over that stretch. Indy has also limited opponents to just 97.7 points over their past three home dates including a pair two convincing wins over the Knicks. Considering that the home team has claimed the win in each of the first five games of the series, as well as the Knicks uneven play in Indiana in particular, and on the road overall, this series is looking destined to go seven games. The Pacers also enjoy a strong track in Game 6 situations, going 8-1 in their past nine, but have managed to rebound to win a series after trailing 3-2 just once since joining the NBA in 1976.

New York Knicks

Any concerns about the fitness of Jalen Brunson were quickly put to rest following a stellar performance by the star point guard on Tuesday night. Brunson returned to the impressive form he flashed earlier in the postseason while racking up a game-high 44 points on 18-for-35 shooting. However, Brunson must still prove he can maintain that momentum in Indiana, where he shot just 37.2% from the field while averaging just 22 points in Games 3 and 4, and tallied just 19.5 points per game in eight career road dates with the Pacers. Accordingly, it is tough to get behind the -115 odds on the NBA player props of Brunson dropping OVER 34.5 points on Friday.

Indiana Pacers

The only Pacers shooter to reach 20 points, Pascal Siakam led the squad with 22 points in Game 5. However, “Spicy P” has yet to rediscover the form that produced 36.5 points per game in his first two appearances of these NBA playoffs. Indeed, a lack of consistent production has been a concern for the Pacers. Tyrese Haliburton has been explosive at times this spring, but continues to be plagued by a rash of injuries that have limited him to just 16.5 points per game. However, the Pacers bench showed it could step up when needed in Game 4 of this series, contributing 57 points, and may need to be called upon again to preserve this team’s playoff hopes on Friday night.
