The Toronto Raptors and Memphis Grizzlies wrap up their season series on Tuesday night at Scotiabank Arena and the Dinos will catch a break in one regard. The NBA odds will depend on a few Toronto injuries.

Grizzlies vs. Raptors NBA Betting Odds

Last Wednesday, the Raptors won their fourth straight game as the road team in this series, 126-113. Gary Trent Jr. (more on him below) scored 17 of his 26 points in the fourth quarter. Fred VanVleet added 23 points and every Toronto starter had at least 17 points. They shot 52.8 per cent from the field. Memphis, which shot 51.2 per cent, led by 12 at the half. Young star Ja Morant had 23 points and nine assists – one of three 20-point scorers for Memphis.

The Raptors will not have to worry about Morant on Tuesday as he’s going to miss at least a few weeks with a knee injury suffered in Friday’s loss to Atlanta. It looked bad immediately, and the Grizzlies are lucky it wasn’t season-ending. Morant, the former NBA Rookie of the Year, was playing at an All-Star level, averaging 24.1 points, 6.8 assists and 5.6 rebounds.

All-time, Toronto is 27-24 in the series and 15-11 as the “home” team but lost the matchup last season in Tampa. The Raptors are 7-3 ATS in the past 10 as the home team vs. Memphis.

Memphis Grizzlies

The Grizzlies are 1-0 without Morant, beating a bad Sacramento Kings team on Sunday, 128-101. Mississauga native Dillon Brooks, who has had his own injury problems this season, led with 21 points and Desmond Bane added 18. Brooks and Raptors forward Chris Boucher, who played high school basketball together in Alma, also teamed together for two seasons at the University of Oregon (2015-16). Tyus Jones started in Morant’s place and had six points and eight assists in 24 minutes. Jones is a solid player who leads the NBA in assist-to-turnover ratio at 6.0, but he’s not close to the scorer Morant is. Last season, Jones joined Muggsy Bogues and Chris Paul as the only players in NBA history to lead the league in the category in three straight years.

Toronto Raptors

The Raptors played without OG Anunoby, Gary Trent Jr. and Khem Birch on Sunday and lost 109-97 at home to Boston even though Celtics All-Star Jayson Tatum was 2-for-16 from the field. Fred VanVleet led Toronto with 27 points, Scottie Barnes had 21, Pascal Siakam 18 and Svi Mykhailiuk 12. The Dinos also are without backup point guard Goran Dragic as he has left the team to deal with a personal matter and has no timetable to return. It’s no secret the team wants to trade him and Dragic wants out. He hasn’t been playing. The status of Anunoby and Trent will partly determine Tuesday’s spread.
