Bulls vs. Raptors NBA Betting Odds
The Raptors enter their first meeting of the season with Chicago riding a four-game head-to-head losing streak. The club was swept in all four matchups last season, with three of those defeats coming by double-digit margins including a 122-106 loss when the Bulls last visited Toronto in January 2025. The Raptors’ current 0-4 head-to-head run extends an historical stretch of futility against Bulls, who have denied Toronto consecutive victories while going 13-5 in their past 18 tilts. With the Bulls averaging 126.5 points per game during their 4-0 run versus the Raptors, the total has gone OVER three times during that stretch, ending a 7-1 run for the UNDER. However, the Bulls have struggled to maintain that scoring momentum during their current 1-5 overall slide, averaging just 112 points per game and suffering a trio of defeats by double digits.
The Raptors have also struggled to produce consistently during their 1-3 run, which includes a pair of losses on home court that have dumped them to 1-4 SU and ATS in their past five at Scotiabank Arena. However, the club has managed to win two of three when playing in back half of back-to-back contests, and are unbeaten SU in their past nine when pegged as home chalk by 8+ points.
Chicago Bulls
Decimated by injuries and at dire risk of falling out of the NBA playoff picture, the Bulls have been busy in the hours leading up to the NBA trade deadline, making several deals that will leave even hardcore fans in need of a program to figure out who will be in Thursday’s lineup. Among the players headed out the door are three of the club’s top four scorers to date including Coby White, Nikola Vucevic, and Ayo Dosunmu, while incoming personnel include veteran guards Collin Sexton and Anfernee Simons, three-time NBA Slam Dunk Contest winner Mac McClung, who was signed as a free agent to a two-way deal, and promising young big man Ousmane Dieng. While it is unclear if any of these players will be ready to suit up on Thursday, Bulls leading scorer Josh Giddey has been ruled out due to a hamstring injury that has already forced him to miss four games.
Toronto Raptors
With the Bulls amid a big roster shakeup, opportunity knocks for the Raptors, who are getting desperate for wins and a full 48-minute performance. The Raptors have also been busy making deals, addressing cap issues in a three-way trade that landed them Chris Paul while also adding to their depth in the paint by acquiring big man Trayce Jackson-Davis. It is far from certain that Paul will report to the club for what is expected to be his final NBA season, while Jackson-Davis is unlikely to make his debut on Thursday. While those off-court issues get addressed, the Raptors will be looking for more big performances from the duo of Brandon Ingram and Scottie Barnes. Ingram is coming off a 25-point, six-rebound performance versus the Timberwolves and has averaged 26.5 points over the past four games, while Barnes racked up 22 points and 10 boards versus Minnesota for his third double-double in four games, and is a solid +110 bet to accomplish the feat again on Thursday against the retooled Bulls.
