Milwaukee’s seven-game win streak has them a game out of first place in the Eastern Conference, currently sitting at 36-17 on the season. Portland meanwhile is just on the outside of the Western Conference playoff picture at 26-27.

Monday’s the first of three straight on the road for Milwaukee, who only have wins in 13 of their 25 contests on the road. Portland’s returning from a three-game road trip, going 2-1 in that stretch. Monday’s the first of five straight at home for the Trail Blazers. Portland is 14-11 on home court this season.

Tip-off at Moda Center at the Rose Quarter goes at 10 p.m. EST, with the Bucks a -4.5 favourite on the road and the total at 240 on the NBA odds.

It was again the Giannis Antetokounmpo show when Milwaukee defeated Miami 123-115 Saturday night. Antetokounmpo had a game-high 35 points, also registering a triple-double with 15 rebounds and 11 assists. It was the third triple-double this season for the two-time MVP. The Bucks also got a huge night from Khris Middleton, who remains coming off the bench but saw some extended minutes and put up 24 points on nine of 14 shooting from the field.

Throughout the Bucks’ seven-game win streak, Antetokounmpo has lead the team in points and rebounds in each game. He’s got a minimum of 34 points in five straight outings, including two 50-point nights as he continues to be nearly unstoppable.

Portland Trail Blazers

A perfect road trip for the Trail Blazers was ruined Saturday night when they fell 129-121 at Chicago. Damien Lillard finished with a game-high 40 points. Lillard and fellow guard Anfernee Simons each knocked down five of their 12 three-point attempts, and the team going 14 for 43 total. Portland’s currently seventh in the NBA with a 37.7 percentage from the arc as a team.

The Trail Blazers have now reached 120 points in four consecutive outings, but now face a Milwaukee club that’s sixth in the league in points against (111.8 per game). The Bucks haven’t allowed over 115 points in four straight games too.
