Last year’s NBA Finals MVP shot 12 of 23, made 12 of 16 free throws and scored Milwaukee’s final 12 points. It was his third straight game with at least 30 points. Khris Middleton added 32 points, eight rebounds and eight assists. Jrue Holiday chipped in 21 points and Bobby Portis had 12. Of note, Antetokounmpo needs 135 points to pass Kareem Abdul-Jabbar’s franchise record of 14,211. Pat Connaughton, who hasn’t played since Feb. 10 because of finger surgery, is listed as probably on Saturday.

Karl-Anthony Towns came through big against L.A. on Wednesday, scoring 16 of his game-high 30 points in the fourth quarter of Minnesota’s 124-104 blowout win over the Lakers. Towns, who had a franchise-record 60-point performance in the T-Wolves’ previous game, also added eight rebounds. Anthony Edwards finished with 27 points, while Patrick Beverley had 18. Minnesota, who led by as much as 25 points in the second quarter, never trailed in the game. It was the first game without Jaden McDaniels in the lineup. McDaniels is expected to miss at least two more weeks with a sprained ankle.
