The UFC is back this weekend with another exciting event, as UFC Fight Night 270 gets underway on Saturday, March 21, live from the O2 Arena in London, England. The card will consist of 14 fights across the preliminary card and the main card. Further, the action will begin at 1:00 PM ET with the preliminaries, while main-card bouts are set to get started at around 4:00 PM ET. I’ve keyed in on my three best bets on the UFC odds board for Fight Night 270.
UFC Sam Patterson vs Michael Page best bet: Sam Patterson ML (+144)
My first best bet for UFC Fight Night 270 will target Sam Patterson to upset Michael Page. Patterson enters this fight with an MMA record of 14-2-1 and 5-1 in the UFC. His most recent UFC fight resulted in a win against Trey Waters by KO/TKO back in September 2025.
Patterson has competed in the UFC since late 2022, but has proven to have a balanced fighting style. He is averaging 3.89 significant strikes and has a striking accuracy of 43%. In terms of his grappling, Patterson is averaging 1.39 takedowns every 15 minutes and 2.8 submission attempts during the same period. Further, his takedown accuracy is 100%, but his takedown defence is 33%.
Page is actually the favourite in this fight, but he doesn’t appear to have the balance that Patterson has. He severely lacks the ability to grapple, which could give Patterson the edge and I believe makes him overpriced at +144.
UFC Iwo Baraniewski vs Austen Lane best bet: Iwo Baraniewski Win by KO/TKO (-195)
My second pick for UFC Fight Night 270 is for Iwo Baraniewski to defeat Austen Lane by KO/TKO. Baraniewski is undefeated with an MMA record of 7-0 and is 2-0 in the UFC. His most recent fight was a win by KO/TKO against Ibo Aslan back in December 2025.
Baraniewski has only competed in the UFC since September of last year, but has proven to be a one-dimensional fighter. He is averaging 14.31 significant strikes per minute and has a striking accuracy of 68%. As for his grappling, he has yet to land a takedown, but has a takedown defence of 100%.
As for Lane, he has struggled in the UFC with a record of 2-5. Of his five UFC losses, four of them have come by KO/TKO. Further, both of Baraniewski’s UFC wins have been by KO/TKO. Therefore, backing Baraniewski to win by KO/TKO is my play.
UFC Roman Dolidze vs Christian Leroy Duncan best bet: Fight to go the Distance – No (-140)
My final pick for UFC Fight Night 270 will be for the bout between Roman Dolidze and Christian Leroy Duncan to end inside the distance.
Duncan enters this fight with an MMA record of 13-2 and is 6-2 in the UFC. As for Dolidze, he enters this fight with a 15-4 and has gone 9-4 inside the octagon.
Duncan has seen five of his eight UFC fights end inside the distance, while Dolidze has seen five of his nine UFC fights do the same. Based on this, backing this fight to end inside the distance is my play for Saturday.
