Jays spring training

No team in baseball has won more games in Spring Training since 2010 than the Toronto Blue Jays. Will their spring success translate into a World Series title?

There’s something to be said about developing a winning environment in Major League Baseball’s Spring Training.

Sure, the games don’t really mean anything and the lineup cards are listed with names even the most hardcore baseball fan struggles to recognize, but for some teams none of that matters. They’re out to win every time they take the field.

No team fits that bill better than the Toronto Blue Jays.

The Blue Jays have the best Spring Training winning percentage in the bigs dating back to the 2010 season and now they’re positioned just  behind the Chicago Cubs to win the World Series.

Heading into this weekend’s two-game set against the Boston Red Sox at Olympic Stadium in Montreal, the Blue Jays are rolling along at 17-6 in Spring Training play – not that the sparkling record should be any surprise to those of you following along.

The Jays were set as +750 earlier this month and now MLB World Series odds have dropped Toronto down to +700.
