Tito Ortiz Arrested for Assaulting Jenna Jameson

MMA fighter Tito Ortiz is facing the harsh eye of the media since his recent arrest for domestic violence against his girlfriend and the mother of his twin sons, Jenna Jameson. Ortiz, known as the Huntington Beach Bad Boy, is the UFCs former Light Heavyweight Champion, CEO of the Punishment Athletics mixed martial arts equipment and clothing line and coach on the current season of The Ultimate Fighter.

Jameson claims that Tito threw her into a bathtub tearing two ligaments in her shoulder after she said something “hurtful to his ego.” Ortiz was taken into custody and booked on domestic violence charges. However, Tito’s attorney Chip Matthews vehemently denies Jameson’s claims, arguing that she is addicted to Oxycontin and is making these claims after Ortiz found the drug in her pockets that lead to an “emotional meltdown.”

Tito delivered his accusations through teary eyes at a press conference held by Matthews where he went on to state that he was trying to help her with her addiction and that she has a relapse on Monday. He claimed that she had threatened suicide in the past and she was lashing out at him for trying to help her.

“He did not put his hands on her, he did not hit her, he did not do anything to her,” Matthews told the media.

Where this story gets interesting, however, is Jenna’s conflicting testimony about what really happened. TMZ’s cameras caught Jenna at 8 p.m. when she adamantly stated that Tito did not beat her up. TMZ filmed her again at 10 p.m. and her story had drastically changed, with Jenna repeatedly referring to Tito as a “wife beater.”

Between her two conflicting reports, Tito and his lawyer had addressed the press, citing Jenna’s apparent drug addiction as the reason for false domestic violence accusations made against Tito. Jenna says Tito’s addiction allegation is, “completely false” and “the last nail in the coffin” for their relationship and that he’s falsely accusing her of OxyContin addiction because he’s “very, very desperate.”

Now, more recently, Ortiz’s ex-wife Kristin Ortiz has come to Tito’s defence stating that he would, “never hurt a female.” And that she never once felt even a hint of physical danger from him during their marriage.

Kristin was married to Tito for almost 10 years and went on to say that he is an “amazing person, amazing father and an amazing human being.”

Tito Ortiz is currently out on $25,000 bail. He spoke at the press conference saying that, “It means the world to me, my friends and family for their support. My parents have been through an addiction and I see it in the mirror again. I am not going to let my family go through that. I speak from my heart, I hold everything dear to my heart that Jenna will be OK.”
