The regular season is in the books and here comes the post season. The Blue Bombers were
fortunate enough to have a bye week last week leading in to the Semi-finals; this definitely is an
advantage. However, they do enter this game against the Stampeders as the underdog in this
matchup.

CFL Odds and Betting

The Blue Bombers took two of three regular season games against the Stampeders. The last
game was a win in Winnipeg 29-28 on a last second Justin Medlock field goal from 34 yards
out.
The Bombers are 7-3 against the spread in their last 10 games overall, and also 6-1 ATS in their
last seven games against the West division. They are also 9-2 ATS in their last 11 games
following a straight up win.
The Stampeders have been a very good home playoff team going 4-1 ATS in their last five
home post-season games. Calgary is also 0-6-1 ATS in their last seven games overall, and are
0-4 ATS in their last four games versus the West division.

Winnipeg Blue Bombers

The Blue Bombers enjoyed a bye week entering this weekend’s Semi-final. The big question is
who Head Coach Mike O’Shea will start at Quarterback. When Matt Nichols went down earlier
this season, it was Chris Streveler, but in week 20, team newcomer Zach Collaros played an
impressive game versus the Stampeders, going 22-of-28 for 221 yards and two touchdowns
(also one interception).
It’ll be interesting to see how big the chip on Running back Andrew Harris’ shoulder is entering
this game. Despite leading the CFL in rushing for the third straight season, Harris was left off
the team nominations for Most Outstanding Player and Top Canadian awards. Harris was
suspended for two games earlier this season after he tested positive for a banned substance.

Calgary Stampeders

The Stampeders clinched home field advantage with a 21-16 win over the BC Lions in week 21.
Wide Receiver Hergy Mayla had one of his better games of the season last week against the
Lions. Mayla hauled in five catches for 103 yards and a touchdown. He should be a great
compliment to standout receiver Reggie Begelton. Begelton finished the season with 1444 yards
on the year, good enough for third spot in the CFL. He also finished tied for third in the CFL with
10 receiving touchdowns.
The Stampeders have allowed the third least amount of points this season with 407, for an
average of 22.61 per game. They are led by Linebacker Wynton McManis whose 86 tackles are
tied for fourth in the league.
