Daniel Jones
It’s unknown how long Jones has been playing with a fractured fibula, but he remains a full participant at practice and will try to play through the injury.
Jones told reporters the injury is “just something I felt last week, and tough to say exactly when.”
Playing in his first season with the Colts, the 28-year-old has thrown for 2,840 yards with 17 touchdowns and seven interceptions. Jones’ 69.1 completion percentage, 101.4 passer rating and 65.9 QB rating are all career-bests
The former Giants pivot has also rushed for 159 yards and five TDs.
Indianapolis Colts
Entering Week 13, Indianapolis leads the AFC South with an 8-3 record, followed closely by 7-4 Jacksonville and 6-5 Houston. Four of the Colts’ remaining six games come against the Jaguars and Texans.
With Jones’ mobility affected, Indianapolis will need to rely even heavier on running back Jonathan Taylor, who leads the NFL by a wide margin in both rushing yards (1,197) and rushing TDs (15). Taylor is a -130 favourite to win Offensive Player of the Year.
