CF Montréal vs. FC Cincinnati MLS Betting Odds, Prediction

CF Montréal looks to snap a five-game losing streak when it hosts playoff-chasing FC Cincinnati at Stade Saputo on Saturday at 7:30 p.m. ET.

Montréal sits last in the Eastern Conference at 5-15-6 with 21 points after falling 2-0 at home to the Columbus Crew last Saturday. The loss extended Montréal’s winless streak at Stade Saputo to eight MLS matches.

Cincinnati is ninth in the East at 8-8-9 with 33 points after rallying from two goals down for a 2-2 draw at Houston. Bryan Ramirez scored in the 73rd minute before Kévin Denkey converted a penalty in the seventh minute of stoppage-time for his team-high 14th goal.

Cincinnati won the first meeting 4-3 on March 22, scoring twice after the 80th minute despite playing with 10 men.

Montréal’s difficult season continued with the 2-0 loss to Columbus, the third time in four league games the squad was held scoreless.

The club has just 31 goals in 26 MLS matches while allowing 53, for a minus-22 goal differential.

Prince Owusu leads Montréal with 13 goals, but the hosts will be severely depleted Saturday because of international duty.

Samuel Piette, Dani Pereira, Wiki Carmona, Dante Sealy, Olger Escobar and Efrain Morales are among the players away with their national teams.

That creates another challenge for a Montréal side that hasn’t won an MLS match at Stade Saputo since before the World Cup break.

FC Cincinnati

Cincinnati showed its resilience again in Houston, overcoming a 2-0 second-half deficit to earn a point.

However, Cincinnati will be without Denkey on Saturday after he joined Togo for international duty. Miles Robinson and Pavel Bucha are also away with their national teams.

That puts more responsibility on Evander, who has 13 goals and a team-high 12 assists and has created 70 chances this season.

Cincinnati has scored five goals over its last two matches but has struggled defensively, conceding 15 during its five-game winless run.

Neither side is in good form, and the international window makes this matchup harder to predict.

Montréal has the home-field advantage, but that hasn’t meant much lately. The club is winless in eight straight league matches at Stade Saputo and has lost five consecutive games overall.

Cincinnati will miss Denkey, and the Orange and Blue are just 1-6-6 on the road this season, but Montréal’s long list of international absences could be even more damaging.
