Canada vs. New Zealand Prediction: Olympic Women’s Soccer Odds

It’s the opening Olympic game for both teams, so fans and bettors alike are hoping they’ll be bringing their A-game to set the tone for the rest of the tournament.

New Zealand Women, or the Football Ferns, are looking to make a splash and defy the numbers as the group’s longest odds team to win. They co-hosted the last World Cup but didn’t make it past the group stage. They’ve got another shot at it in Paris after winning the OFC Olympic qualifying tournament. This is their fifth straight Olympics, and they’re hoping to finally break out of the group stage.
