Devan Dubnyk made 29 saves and Mikko Koivu scored the tie-breaking goal in the third period to give the home side the win. The Wild are in the middle of a six game home stand, and likely to go back to Dubnyk once again on Halloween night. Dubnyk is 3-3-1 this season, with a 3.04 goals against and a .905 save percentage. Defenceman Jared Spurgeon has five points (one goal, four assists) in the past four games. He leads the Wild with seven assists and is tied for first with eight points.
