Anaheim Ducks v Vancouver Canucks

Puck Luck

Vancouver Canucks at Ottawa Senators (+120, 5)

The Canucks have dropped seven of their last eight but coach John Tortorella is trying to stay positive. The club is struggling offensively with just a single goal in five games during this slide. That said, the Canucks are generating a ton of scoring chances over the last three games. They have had at least 35 shots on goal in five of their last six and might fill the net with that many attempts tonight against the Sens. Look for Ryan Kessler to lead the charge and force the Sens to play below their own goal line. That’s a remedy for disaster for Ottawa.

Pick: Vancouver Canucks

Edmonton Oilers at Nashville Predators (-130, 5.5)

The Preds are back to playing strong defence and have allowed two or fewer goals in each of their last six games, so you know what to expect from them here. Edmonton’s inconsistency is just hard to get behind right now. Unless the Oilers get an early lead, this one might be over before it gets started. It’s probably best to just play the home team here.

Pick: Predators
