The Ottawa Senators look to snap a three-game skid in Arizona on Saturday with a matinee matchup against the Arizona Coyotes. The Coyotes are fresh off an impressive upset win Thursday night over the Colorado Avalanche, who currently sit in first place in the NHL.

Nine points now separate the 26th ranked Senators from the 32nd ranked Coyotes in the league’s overall standings.

The odds are even on the Moneyline on the NHL odds with a total of 5.5.

Senators vs. Coyotes NHL Betting Odds

Ottawa beat the Coyotes 3-2 last time they played in February of 2020, snapping a 5-0 Arizona run dating back to 2017. During that six-game stretch, the Under went 4-2. Early betters are split on the winner of Saturday’s matchup, with 57 percent of the betting public siding with the Senators.

Ottawa and Arizona are 27th and 32nd respectably in goals per game, but despite that, the Over has seen the majority of the bets.

The Senators were in another low-scoring contest Thursday, one of seven games playing the Under in their past ten. They have played the most Unders in the league with a record of 19-33. After covering the spread four nights in a row, they dropped the past three ATS, putting them 28-25.

The Coyotes have been trading wins and losses for the past six games, in the stretch, they went 4-2 ATS and 4-2 on the Over/Under.

Ottawa Senators

The Senators were dominated by one of the league’s best teams in Thursday night 3-0 loss to the Florida Panthers. They managed less than 20 shots on the net (18) for the third time this year as they suffered their fifth loss in six games.

Anton Forsberg was the Sens top performer stopping 45 of 48 shots. He has started the brunt of Ottawa’s games so far posting an 11-9-2 record with a 2.80 goals-against average and a .918 save percentage.

Forward Josh Norris returned Thursday after missing 16 games with injury, he still leads his team with 18 goals this year.

Ottawa will have little time to rest before they hit the road again to play in Vegas Sunday night.

Arizona Coyotes

The Coyotes look to wrap up their season-high eight-game homestand on a high note with back-to-back wins Saturday against Ottawa.

Thursday’s 2-1 win over the league’s best was the most intense hockey the desert has seen in the past while. Goalie Karel Vameljka played outstanding, stopping 42 shots for his eighth win of the year and Nick Schmaltz continued his hot streak with a clutch game-winning goal in the third. Schmaltz has seven points in the past five games and is on pace to set a new career-high in points.

A win would pull the Coyotes out of last place in the NHL, but if they do not try again Tuesday in Detroit.
