Rangers vs. Kraken NHL Betting Odds
The Rangers have looked much better on the road this year, where they’re 4-1 compared to 1-1-1 at home. They’re an even 4-4 against the spread. Don’t bank on a high scoring game though, as New York has failed to hit the Over in seven of eight games this season.
Seattle is riding their first two-game win streak in franchise history and enter the game 3-4-1 on the season. They’re 5-3 ATS and have hit the Over in half of their eight games.
New York Rangers
After a bump that saw them drop their first two games of the year, New York has now won five of their last six contests. Chris Kreider (two goals), Alexis Lafreniere and Ryan Strome all found the back of the net last time out in a win against Columbus. Igor Shesterkin stopped 31 shots for his third career shutout. Kreider leads the team with six goals, while reigning Norris Trophy winner Adam Fox leads in points with eight (1G, 7A). Shesterkin should get the nod in net on Sunday. He’s posted a 4-1-1 record this year, with a 1.81 goals-against average and .944 save percentage.
Seattle Kraken
It might only be two wins, but Seattle if now officially looking to build off their first win streak in franchise history. Hayden Fleury’s two-goal performance along with markers from Mark Giordano and Brandon Tanev made the difference in the Kraken’s win against Minnesota on Thursday. Philipp Grubauer stopped 30 of 31 shots faced. Tanev leads the team with six goals in eight games, while Jared McCann has a team-high seven points (3G, 4A). Grubauer is the likely starter against New York. A Vezina Trophy finalist last year, Grubauer is 3-3-1 this season, with a 2.93 GAA and .897 SV.
