Montreal Canadiens’ Cole Caufield Ready to Start Training Camp
Cole Caufield spoke with the press on Monday at the Montreal Canadiens’ charity golf tournament. Despite the torn labrum that limited his time on the ice to only 46 games, the club saw fit to extend the forward for another eight years with a contract worth $62.8 million.
Caufield scored 26 goals and added 10 assists in 2022-2023, with the goal mark being a career high.
Said Caufield to reporters:
“It feels better than it did before, I can tell you that, so I’m really excited, ready to go, and it feels 100 per cent.”
