Kings vs. Jets NHL Betting Odds

The public is expecting the Jets to put an end to the Kings’ win streak as they have received 66 percent of bets so far. They are less decisive on the over/under set at 5.5, splitting the bets 50-50.

The under is 7-3 in the Kings’ past ten games. They rank in the top 10 in both goals for and against and they have not conceded more than two in seven straight contests. LA has been making bank against the spread, covering three games in a row and boosting their record to 10-4.

The Jets have covered in seven of their past ten games, bringing their record to 7-6, their over/under record is spotty as well at 6-6.

Los Angeles Kings

The Kings make the final stop of their Canadian road trip tonight in Winnipeg. They rolled through the rest of the country as they added onto their November winning streak, bumping it up to seven. Jonathan Quick stole the show on Thursday night, shutting out the Ottawa Senators. The 34-year-old netminder proved he can still play, stopping 34 shots for his 55th career shutout.

Captain Anze Kopitar opened the scoring with his eighth of the year on the power play. The grizzled 16-year veteran has been driving the Kings’ offence with 16 points in 14 games.

Winnipeg Jets

Pierre-Luc Dubois had a pair of goals in the last game versus L.A. and Kyle Connor had himself a night with three assists. The pair have been dynamic on Winnipeg’s second line with a combined 18 goals and 31 points so far in this campaign.

The Jets scored four unanswered goals in their Thursday night victory over the San Jose Sharks. Winnipeg needs to find some consistency in the final two games of this home stand, where they have been playing .500 hockey so far this month.
