The Jets travel to Ottawa on the heels of Thursday’s 4-1 loss in Toronto, and have now potted just four total goals over their past three contests. The Senators return home to play their third game in four nights after wrapping up a home-and-home series with the Pittsburgh Penguins with a 4-1 road loss on Friday that marks their fifth defeat in their past seven games.

Jets vs. Senators NHL Betting Odds
Saturday night’s matchup at Canadian Tire Centre marks the second and final meeting of the season between these clubs. The Jets romped to a 5-1 win on home ice on December 20, extending their current head-to-head win streak to games. The Jets have also earned the win in five of their past seven visits to Ottawa, capped by a narrow 4-3 victory back on April 10, but have not recorded consecutive road wins over the Sens in four dates since January 2021.
The total has reached 6.0 or higher in each of the past four meetings between these clubs. Accordingly, the OVER has gone 3-1 over that stretch after paying out in just one of their previous six matchups.
Winnipeg Jets
Inconsistent offence has dogged the Jets during a disappointing 3-6 straight up run on the road. Winnipeg shooters have potted two or fewer goals in five of their six recent road defeats. Ottawa Senators
The Senators saw their recent offensive woes resurface in Friday night’s loss in Pittsburgh. While Ottawa outpaced the Penguins in shots by a 45-44 margin, Senators shooters were unable to get the team on the scoreboard until late in the second period, after already spotting the Pens a 3-0 lead they would not relinquish. Overall, the Sens have averaged just 2.29 goals per game during their current 2-5-0 run, and have potted just six total goals over those five defeats. The Senators have also produced middling results when playing in the back half of games played on back-to-back nights, going 3-4 straight up over their past seven, and posting just one win in their past four on home ice.
The club’s recent scoring slump has had little impact on Brady Tkachuk. The Sens captain potted the team’s lone goal on Friday night, and has now racked up two goals and six points over his past four games including a four-point performance in Ottawa’s 5-4 home victory over the Penguins on Wednesday night.
