Hobbled by injury, Tarasenko has struggled to find the back of the net, scoring just three times in his past 15 game appearances, but has benefited from a lighter workload since his arrival on Broadway. Tarasenko’s countryman Artemi Panarin has provided the offensive spark during the Rangers’ recent surge. Panarin tallied an assist in Saturday’s defeat in Calgary, and has now compiled six goals and 15 points during an impressive eight-game points streak, but has scored just once in his past nine home appearances.
